We had a great time! We really enjoyed sitting outside by the fire! JP was super nice and accommodating. We would definitely rent the home again. Thank you for a great stay!
JP was really easy to work with as we were arranging our Christmas-time stay at his sweet home in the Mid-Wilshire area of LA. The home is very spacious and charming, the beds are super-comfortable, the kitchen has everything you'll need and there are relaxing, shaded patio areas in which to chill. The home was absolutely everything we were led to believe it would be.
Activity-wise, the home is within walking distance of the very impressive LA County Museum (if you want to do the whole museum, leave more than one day in which to take it all in), the Farmer's Market and The Grove (a semi-glitzy outdoor mall that was in wonderful full-on Vegas mode at Christmastime.) If you're a walker (which I am, being from SF) you can stroll east a handful of blocks to La Brea and then walk north and you'll be in the thick of yoga studios, numerous boutiques and restaurants (they're definitely trendy, but that's actually part of the fun, if you don't take it all too seriously.)
If you, like me, need a lot of physical activity, there is an LA Fitness gym just a few short blocks away, a Jewish community center at the end of the block with a pool and workout facilities, as well as the aforementioned yoga studios.
We mostly ate at home, but we had an awesome Ethiopian meal in nearby "Little Ethiopia" at a restaurant called Nyala, on Fairfax.
Although LA has a well-chronicled rap about being a place where one has to drive everywhere, when we *did* want to venture further afield (downtown, hiking Griffith Park), 90% of the time it was a breeze.
We had an amazing time staying here. The house was wonderful and JP is super nice. We are already thinking of renting again when we come back to LA. I highly reccommend this house

J.P. was a wonderful host! He was very communicative before and throughout my stay. This was especially necessary when Air BnB had a bug that wouldn't let me pre-book after approval.
The house is charming! The beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms clean, the deck area and hot tub wonderful after a day of work. Travelling with a co-worker, it was ideal to have two bathrooms with the bedrooms. The jungle of palms and ferns in the entrance felt very exotic and transported me to a space of relaxation. The art made us smile. It was amazing what a quiet, neighborhood feel the street had despite being so centrally located. The line of food trucks close-by was fun for lunchtime. It was a comfortable neighborhood to walk and jog around.
Only complaint was that the cleaners came very early on our check-out day, which was annoying after working late the night before. But it wasn't a deal-breaker. I'll have to go back since I didn't make it to the tar pits! I would definitely stay again next time I'm heading to L.A.
What an amazing house! My mom and dad came to visit from Maryland and aunt and uncle from Atlanta all 4 slept comfortably and enjoyed the amenities. The house was very charming and awesomely decorated, very unique style. Loved the piano room. The host was extremely accommodating and responsive throughout their stay. I would highly recommend staying here and we plan on using this location again.
j.p.'s house is well located and very clean. we love the beautiful yard, especially the pool. we enjoy our stay.
We had a beautiful and relaxing stay in JPs charming home. We didn't have a car and managed to get to every area of LA without issues due to the central location. Highly recommend this home!

JP's house is great--perfect LA location, very comfy beds, fantastic and private outdoor gardens. My 2 kids and I really enjoyed every aspect of staying in this beautiful house.
J.P. is a GREAT guest. Incredibly respectful and personable. He even went ahead and washed his own sheets and towels! You'd be lucky to have him stay. And J.P. -- you're welcome back anytime.
J.P. And his girlfriend were lovely guest. It was a pleasure to meet them and host their stay while in Cambria. You will be lucky to have them book your place. A+++++++
Great guests who really knew how to enjoy the neighborhood and bay area. Friendly and warm couple.
J.P.'s a great host -- friendly, accommodating, and hospitable. Totally easy-going. And he really cares not only about his home but about his guests.
Cannot put into words the love I have for this LA house! I lived here for a year and loved every (website hidden) keeps in great contact and any questions/troubleshooting that's needed is met promptly. The house is gorgeous, the neighbors are cool and there is so much going on around this location. The place is tidy and homely and it also comes with an awesome roommate. You'd be silly not to make this spot home! A+++
JP and I have known each other for 3 years and I've been lucky enough to stay in his beautiful house in Toronto several times. He is warm, welcoming and a very gifted host, quick to offer advice or give help when needed.
The house itself is GORGEOUS and the neighborhood is super hot. Even though the house is just steps off of Ossington, it is a quiet and cozy place to stay. Not to mention, there is a roof deck and a back yard to enjoy in the warmer months.
