Erica was a terrific host, easy to communicate with, gracious and accommodating. Her apartment is lovely, clean, and is much larger than one would expect a studio to be. The neighborhood is safe and has lots of great shopping, restaurants and coffee shops. I highly recommend Erica and her apartment and hopefully it will be available the next time I'm in town! Thank you Erica for a wonderful stay!
I stayed at Erica's apartment for a week and had a fantastic time there. It's large (and feels bigger than many studios thanks to the hallways and separated kitchen). It's nicely decorated (you definitely feel more 'at home' than you would at a hotel), she keeps it very clean, and was very accommodating with regard to logistics.
Also, the neighborhood is great and her apartment is located near some nice supermarkets and restaurants. Thanks for a great stay!
My husband and I were in town with three friends to attend a wedding. Erica's apartment is right in the heart of Park Slope and was central to all of the events we needed to attend that weekend.
The apartment is your typical NYC space. With five people sleeping in the bed, pull-out, and air mattress, we used up almost all of the available floor space in the living area.
This was my first AirBnb experience and it felt a lot like staying the weekend at a friend's home. Everything was "lived-in" and not as sterile as a hotel, but it was very comfortable regardless and we were really satisfied with our stay. Erica was very easy to coordinate with, she responds to messages quickly and helped me get a set of keys when the first set never arrived in the mail. She also supplied linens and towels which was very much appreciated.
Erica had warned that the walls were thin and we should stay quiet to respect the neighbors, but we actually didn't hear a peep from any of the other residents during our entire stay. All in all, it was a very successful trip!
Erica was a gracious, easy hostess. We were new to airbnb and she walked us through the stay and the entire process. Her apartment was clean and as pictured. The neighborhood was trendy and fun and she had many recommendations for food and coffee. The studio was as pictured . Great location and the parking was easy in the evening.
Cute apt in heart of it all. Easy to communicate with Erica and make plans for obtaining keys. Great experience.
My husband and I had a wonderful time at Erica's apartment. It is roomy and clean and the bed is VERY comfortable! We were there during a heatwave and were still comfortable, temperature wise. The apartment is in a wonderful location! We felt very safe, lots of restaurants and boutiques nearby and it is in a cute neighborhood! Would definitely stay there again! Erica communicated with us well and we felt right at home.
Erica was very easy to communicate with and left clean towels and sheets for us to use. Her apartment was clean and accurately portrayed in photos. I would recommend Erica!
We just returned from a fabulous three night stay at Erica's awesome Park Slope studio. I knew from a past visit that Brooklyn was a great place to set up camp for a NYC vacation, but my partner had never been there before. When we got to the brownstone she was won over immediately and I was reminded of the benefits of big city living. The studio is spacious and comfortable and only two flights up. The neighborhood is smack dab in the middle of the main Park Slope avenues (5th & 7th) and we spent at least one whole day just walking around looking at all the cute restaurants and cafes. It's only three blocks from Prospect Park and we made sure to do a requisite stroll through the grassy knolls. When we decided to head into the city, we walked two and a half blocks to the R and made our way to the Village and beyond.
This place is great for the cost, much cheaper and more comfortable than staying in a stuffy hotel. For a few days we got to really feel like we were New Yorkers.
Coordinating with Erica was easy; she was very accommodating. The location provides easy access to interesting places in Brooklyn, including Prospect Park - a great place to run. The studio is pleasing and comfortable. Recommend it highly.
lovely person and her family is welcome back anytime
Erica's husbands family stayed at the apartment for a week and I came home to a wonderfully clean and pristine apartment! They were sweet enough to leave me with a little gift as well which was unexpected but lovely! Would definitely host then again. Thanks again!
