I didn't stay with Dominick myself, but booked the room for two friends coming to Kingston for my wedding. When I asked for their feedback for a review, I was told "Give this guy 5 stars, or whatever the best rating is!" They said the suite was very comfortable amd well located, and Dominick was very friendly, accommodating and helpful with information about the area, car services, etc. In my opinion, they gave the best review possible, to wit: "We'd definitely stay there again."
We had a very pleasant stay. The place is very clean and comfortable. Dominic is friendly and wears many hats. He can not only serve your breakfast and suggest a good walking tour, he can cut your hair!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay in the one bedroom suite dreams queen room which was well appointed with a very comfortable bed, and nice stylish mid century feeling furnishings. It is a perfect location for visiting the wonderful and historic Stockade section of Kingston and some of the delicious nearby restaurants. The owner/host Dominick is very nice, laid back and was very accommodating to our needs. He was happy to share his obvious love of Kingston with great dinner recommendations to how to best enjoy a walk around the Stockade. As there was no check in scheduled for Sunday, we were given the option of checking out late. We would definitely consider staying here again.
Dominick Vanacore from Kingston, NY, was a Wonderful host. His place is gorgeous. My girlfriend and I, and two other couples, stayed in his spacious two room suite. The beds were so comfortable it made it hard to get up in the morning. There is a connecting door to the two rooms, which can be locked or kept open if you prefer your privacy. The bathrooms are immaculately clean, and the shower pressure like a mini-Niagara Falls.
We loved relaxing out on the upstairs deck as we drank a bottle of wine, enjoying the sunset. His location in Uptown Kingston is perfect. Walking distance to many nice restaurants and bars. I recommend the all-you-can-eat delicious Indian Buffet for just $12.95 on Saturdays @ the Kingston Indian Restaurant on Wall Street, followed by some frosty suds at Stockade Tavern.
We had a scrumptious breakfast at his cafe/restaurant in the morning, which has Excellent Coffee!! I'm thirsty right now as I type this, wishing I had a hot mug of that Java...ANYhow, breakfast at Dominick's cafe shouldn't be missed. Great atmosphere, delicious food, perfect location.
The best part of the whole experience was how helpful Dominick himself was. He went out of his way to accommodate our late arrival time, and gave us great directions to get to his place, as well as suggestions on where to find free street parking. He also gave us great ideas on things to do both in Kingston and nearby, as well as suggestions on restaurants and pubs in the area. Really a nice guy. My girlfriend and I will most definitely return for another stay soon.
It was such a delightful experience to stay at Dominick's Suite Dreams in
Kingston, NY recently. My boyfriend and stayed in the Twin/King room which
is so spacious that our bedroom and kitchen could nice and neatly inside!
All of the rooms have a modern-vintage feel to them and as a vintage lover
myself, I felt right at home. The furniture, furnishings and linens are
top-notch in quality and appearance. Suite Dreams has every amenity you can
think of, even a Rooftop Patio with sweeping views of the Catskills. Plus
Woodstock is only about 10-15 minuets away. You can't beat that! The next
morning we had such a delicious and nutritious breakfast at Dominick's
restaurant right next door. I highly recommend the Freshly Squeezed
Grapefruit Juice, Spinach & Feta Cheese Omelette and the Blueberry Whole
Grain Pancakes. Yum!! Dominick was so accommodating, friendly and highly
knowledgeable about Kingston's hotspots. If you and your loved ones are
planning a trip to Kingston or Woodstock, the Suite Dreams is the place to
I had the pleasure of meeting Dominick when some friends of mine (one of them an Airbnb Superhost) and I stayed at Suite Dreams, his Airbnb accommodations in Kingston, NY. We all were not at our most impressive-looking, having spent the day hiking and apple-picking and such. Nevertheless, Dominick was gracious and friendly to everyone, showing us not only the rooms we would be staying in and the adjoining deck, which offered a panoramic view of Kingston, but also his own living space upstairs from our rooms, and the salon he owns on the ground floor of the building, Dream Weavers. (In addition, he runs Dominick's Cafe, right next door to Dream Weavers, where we had the pleasure to eat breakfast the morning after our stay - it was, in a word, delicious!)
As for the rooms we were in, they were fantastic! They were gorgeously decorated, immaculate, warm, comfortable, and hip. The beds were a dream, and it was clear that Dominick spared no expense in setting up the environment. The two bathrooms were also exceptionally well-maintained, and each had its own distinct personality.
I would absolutely recommend Suite Dreams to anyone traveling near Kingston. In fact, I would suggest that you go out of your way to add Kingston to your itinerary just in order to stay at Suite Dreams, eat in Dominick's Cafe, and enjoy the historical surroundings. (Visit the Dream Weavers salon, too, if you like!) And you could scarcely ask for a better host than Dominick, who went above and beyond the call of duty to make us feel welcome in his place. Five stars!
I had the pleasure of meeting Dominick while staying with a group of friends at his place in Kingston. From the attention to detail in the decor and comfort of the rooms to the exceptional and welcoming treatment, Dominick demonstrated that he is a top rate host. He went out of his way to give us tips about things to see, places to eat, and even gave us a bit of background about the town overall. Not only were the rooms heavenly, but the food at his cafe (conveniently located on the first floor of the property) were to die for! I'm still dreaming of the delectable blueberry multigrain pancakes and perfect cup of joe. All I can say is if you want to make a good weekend great, have a stay at Dominick's place.
Dominick Vanacore from Kingston, NY was a fantastic host. I along with my girlfriend, and 4 friends stayed in two beautiful rooms in his place. The rooms themselves were spacious, very comfortable, and very clean. I also really liked the decor. The bathrooms were very clean and it had great shower pressure. Dominick has a great rooftop with a great view of the surrounding hillsides and some of the downtown area of Kingston. The location ofDominick's place is great too, located in the heart of Kingston's historic downtown area. We had dinner a great Indian restaurant only 3 blocks away and then went to a very nice bar very close by. The next day, we had breakfast in Dominick's cafe. I can honestly say it was one of the best breakfasts I have had. I had a spinach and feta omelette and wholegrain blueberry pancakes. The food was very tasty and healthy and the atmosphere was much like the rooms where we stayed, very comfortable and clean. There are fantastic shops in the surrounding area and the walk around the downtown was great! Lots of history and very nice people too. And Dominick himself is very responsive and hospitable. He is very knowledgeable about the area and takes great care in his facilities. I really enjoyed my stay and have even recommended it to my parents. I hope to visit again either in the fall or spring. This place is truly a gem and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nice, relaxing geteway in a small, beautiful town with a great host. Thanks again to Dominick!.
Dominick is such a welcoming host and so good with making people feel right at home. Though Dominick is a busy man with multiple ventures and I'm sure much to handle, he's very good at making those around him feel calm and comfortable, almost as if you've known him for a while and I like that feeling. He reminds me of friends I used to have growing up on my block in Brooklyn, there's just an instant feeling of familiarity. Not only did he go out of his way to meet me and my group as far sleeping accommodations were concerned, he also welcomed us into his cafe for breakfast. Amongst the chaos of the crowd he managed to make us feel as if we were his only breakfast guests. He stood by our table and schooled us on the history of his neighborhood Kingston, as well as gave us detailed directions as to how we can find some of his favorite hangouts. I've already begun to spread the word about Dominick and his hospitality!
