If you are looking for a clean, light and quiet apartment in San Francisco suited for families with small children, then this apartment ticks all of those boxes. Moreover, the apartment is located perfectly for getting to many of the city's eclectic sights:
Stroll down Dolores past the Mission to the park, pick up an ice cream at the corner of 18th and enjoy the swings of the nearby playground/views of downtown. Wish to see Castro first hand, just go down Market St to Castro Avenue.
Heading to Union Square/cable car rides/the Ferry building/the Exploratorium/Pier 39/Fisherman's Wharf? Just walk up to Market (5 min) and take the F train. If Golden Gate Park is your destination, you can get there easily, too, by N train from Duboce Park.
If you or your kids do not feel like going out at all - relax. You'll probably have a wonderful time at "home", too, as there is lots of space, a variety of toys to play with, a comfy couch, interesting books, music, and a well equipped kitchen and nice dining area, too.
Leandro was great to communicate with, answering all of our questions and addressing our reservations regarding the parking situation in the Mission very elegantly: He offered to get us a temporary parking permit ($35), which we gladly paid for. Parking on the street without a permit is only possible for a 2 hour period on weekdays and parking lots in the area charge from $20 upwards for a day. So, paying for the parking permit, if offered, is a no brainer.
Unfortunately we did not meet Leandro personally, but he arranged for his very friendly and helpful neighbor to hand us the keys and show us the shared laundry room in the garage.
Our little family had a wonderful stay! Thanks, Leandro.
Reality Nice and Central clean flat Great stay
Leandro is the perfect guest to have in your home. He is polite, considerate and clean. It was such a nice experience having him stay with us and we truly enjoyed meeting him. I would welcome him back in the heart beat.
