My wife and I own and run a small product design company in Brooklyn. We both speak fluent Spanish (I lived in Barcelona for a few years after college, she in Puerto Rico) and I speak a decent Italian.

It's rare that the pictures don't do a place justice but in this case it's true. The loft is vast, as stunning as it looks, and is also so characterful in the flesh. Location perfect for subway and ferry. Jason was incredibly helpful too.
Jason was responsive to emails and phone calls prior to check-in, and let us drop off our stuff much earlier than our check-in time. (He was at the location, working on his computer.) The whole process was seamless.
The space was amazingly comfortable and convenient. Also, if you happen to play, they have a piano, and the space has great acoustics!
Do bring your own toiletries though. They have a collection of leftover soap/shampoo/conditioner, but really not enough. An extremely minor issue in what was otherwise a fantastic stay.
My travel plans were "fluid" so I did not get to meet Jason in person. I truly appreciated his clarity regarding what to expect and how to get into the loft etc. We were in New York for a family trip and were looking for a place where my daughter and son in law and my husband and myself could be together with my daughter who lives in Brooklyn and not have everyone too together all of the time. The "old style" two bedroom Brooklyn Loft was spacious, clean, comfortable and well located. It worked well for us. We ended up driving to the city and were able to find street parking. The only negatives of our trip were the ice and the L which was limited --nothing related to the accommodations.
This was my first airbnb experience and it was a great one! It was such a hidden gem in the heart of Williamsburg, and gives such an authentic feel for the city. We definitely want to stay here again for our next visit.
From the beginning, Jason responded very quickly, and gave me a detailed photo guide on how to enter the loft, since it can be tricky to locate. I came here with my boyfriend and friends during Valentine's Day weekend, and the location was perfect for going back and forth to Manhattan. This loft is amazing if you want a true Williamsburg artist vibe. I arrived earlier than the rest of my group, so I had the pleasure of meeting Jason and he was able to actually show me everything. This space is normally used as their work office, and although I came just to store my luggage then venture back out, Jason assured me it wasn't a burden if I stayed while they were still there, so I ended up resting for a bit until everyone left. There are also Macs in the loft that you're allowed to use, and the TV is set up with Netflix. The oven was adorable, but we didn't cook at all so we never had a chance to use it. The heater is meant to stay at 60 at all times, but even though it was freezing outside we all stayed really warm in the loft. The vanity mirror was perfect for me since it was so big and lighted so well, and there are random little knickknacks strewn across the loft that were interesting and fun to play with. There is a Duane Reade across the street, and although there is a cheap parking lot next to the building, we lucked up with street parking every night. We had a total of 5 people staying in the loft, the sofa pulls out into a bed and the person staying on it found it very comfortable.
The rooftop had a great view, but it was entirely too cold this particular weekend to do much. Ideally we wanted to hang out and take photos on it much more. The stairs actually getting up to the apartment are ridiculous though, even the fittest ones amongst my group had difficulty getting up. The walls are also very thin, you can hear exactly what your neighbors are watching or hearing, but luckily we didn't care at all. My only regret was not getting the chance to explore more of Williamsburg during our stay, but that's why we definitely want to visit again and stay at this particular loft! Thanks Jason and Alyssa for opening up your space to us and allowing us to have a comfortable and memorable weekend!
The loft apartment was as stated 'stunning' and exactly what you would expect from a warehouse loft apartment. We had everything we needed and the location was excellent. Short walk to subway, and bars, restaurants, and interesting shops. Even though it was cold, the industrial heater got the apartment very warm within minutes!
The apartment and neighborhood are great. There are a ton of cool restaurants in the area and it is easy to get around. We also stayed in and cooked one night and the kitchen is well furnished with everything you need. Jason was always responsive and helpful including being flexible with timing when we were getting in a bit early and leaving a bit late. I would definitely recommend this apartment for anyone looking to stay in Williamsburg.
Absolutely no hesitation in providing a first class review for this excellent property. The loft was everything we expected and the location is brilliant, being just a 5 min walk from the subway and then 3 stops into the centre of Manhattan. There's a great Italian restaurant almost opposite and many other great eating places a short stroll away. Will definitely book again when I am next in NYC
Jason was very helpful with step-by-step instructions of the when, where, how of the loft. We enjoyed our stay immensely. We were there the weekend before Xmas so we spent much of our time in Manhattan. The Bedford L train is super convenient with loads of restaurants/cafes in the neighborhood. Overall it is a wonderful place to stay.
Very comfortable and authentic place to stay. Jason was helpful and when I had a question, promptly replied. The Brooklyn Fresh Market across street has great healthy selection and Tacu Tacu a few streets over has great Asian food. This is a great place to stay and you will be relaxed and have a great time!
It was great working with Jason. He communicated quickly and clearly throughout our visit, even providing a great recommendation on things to do in the neighborhood. The loft was just as described, the beds were very comfortable, including the pullout sofa. We made use of the kitchen and rooftop, and we were very happy with the amenities of the space. The decor is fun and cheerful, and the space is bright and open. It's an old converted warehouse, so we could hear others coming and going in the building, but that's city-living and it was not a big deal.
Williamsburg is a perfect place for a low key, enjoyable, relaxed weekend. Easy access to Manhattan or other parts of Brooklyn via Subway, great coffee shops, restaurants, shopping, and views, the loft was ideally located. We would definitely stay in Jason's flat again, and would quickly recommend it to others who are looking for a vibrant, comfortable, relaxing weekend in Brooklyn.
Jason has been my best friend since we were 15. His honesty, integrity, and desire to be a just and loving person are among his many qualities that make him an important part of my life. He currently has an amazing apartment that anyone would be excited to get to stay in and I know he would treat you like old friends and make sure you had everything you needed to have a great time in Brooklyn!
