Well it happened. I am in my second year of a new business that is taking up most of my time and the worst thing happened to a host that can, a double booking. A guest asked to extend their stay and I forgot to block out the extra day. Then Jason booked using instant book and I was just reading through past emails where I realized what happened. I take full responsibility and am very sorry for this mistake.
Quite a leap from the last direct communication from Jeremy which was " Thanks we enjoyed it". At anytime Jeremy could have said this is not what we wanted and we would have refunded the balance of his money so he could have searched for more acceptable lodging. And it is the country where there is no Comcast on demand. The one man show ISP was out of town and fixed the wifi as soon as he got back. Also, the property is natural landscape not vineyard. The vineyard, which one looks out on from standard sized windows belongs to the neighbors. The company I work for, not my family makes craft ales. At my own expense I stock some ales as a perk for the guests.
I am sorry Jeremy didn't enjoy his stay. I want every guest to have a good experience.
