Richard was the perfect host; his house is really charming, the atmosphere is really calm and relaxed; the house is tidy and decorated with a nice combinations of original pieces. Walking distance to the city center less than 10 minutes.
The room we stayed in is en suite with fresh towels every day and has a little fridge and kettle with daily supply of tea/coffee/milk. Richard offered my friend and I a variety of breakfast to our choice; cooked Irish breakfast or cereals and toast, orange juice, fruits and cheese, and he topped it up buying soy milk for us. The first day we had a tour booked and we had to leave early and he was really accommodating with the breakfast time.
He also gave us a map with recommendations of places to go and he lent us an umbrella to go out at night as the weather wasn't the best during the weekend.
There is a very sociable cat in the house, he is lovely and quite, he looks like Garfield.
Richard is a very easy going, really nice to talk to and he will give you lots of advice to visit the area and your stay in his place will be a pleasure, I sure recommend Richard as a host.
Thanks Rich for a lovely stay at your place.
Richard is a very calm and nice man, taking things easy and very helpful in every question! The beautiful old house is very close to the center of Cork. En Suite bathroom of my room was very tiny but everything else was very charming! Most important thing: the bed let me sleep and had a very comfortable feel.
Clearly recommend this to anyone!
Richard is a very nice person ! He was trying to help us all the time giving advices and tips, maps and leaflets as well. Every mornig served an amazing delicious irish breakfast. He has an old irish house with beautiful, stylish interior close to the city centre. Room was big and cleaned every day. There was a little fridge inside and kettle which simpliefied our life :) and a big comfortable bed.
