one of the things i love most in life is to travel. that said, here i am. i like what jonah lehrer said about traveling: "we travel because we need to, because distance and difference are the secret tonic of creativity. when we get home, home is still the same. but something in our mind has been changed, and that changes everything."
it's a worthy read. check it:
my favorite adventures to date:
every day in san francisco, california
bodysurfing at makapuu beach, east honolulu, hawaii (and my hometown)
being invited by a lama (buddhist monk) on my flight to stay in a monastery near kathmandu, nepal
getting in a water gun fight on the streets of prague, czech republic
watching baby turtles scuttle to the water near playa tamarindo, costa rica
soaking, hiking and meditating at the tassajara zen center, carmel valley, california
snowboarding extra long, powdery runs one day in vail, colorado
spending hours shopping in seibu loft and tokyu hands - shibuya and harajuku, tokyo, japan
swimming in cenotes (underwater freshwater caves) in tulum, mexico
pretty much everything i saw, ate, and did in paris, france
conquering my fear of heights by climbing angels' landing in zion national park, utah
rowing to a full moon party in pokhara, nepal before hitting the annapurna base camp circuit
reacquainting myself with the culture and food of my birthplace, hong kong
coming close to getting struck by lightning in sayulita, mexico, and feeling very thankful afterwards
hiking the lush, green na pali coast in kauai, hawaii (with a sprained ankle, no less)
playing all night along with the other citizens of barcelona, spain
staying at an off-the-grid house made from recycled materials ((website hidden)) in taos, nm
so many more, but i digress from the objective of this bio thingy:
about four years ago, i decided to quit my corporate job and start doing only things i loved. today i'm an entrepreneur, graphic designer, yoga teacher and massage therapist with a successful practice in downtown san francisco ((website hidden))
i'm up on my etiquette, so you'll find that i will treat your home/property with as much care as i would my own.
looking forward to meeting you and staying at your place!
