I'm a long time Tucsonan - my parents moved here in the 1950s and, except for a few stints in NYC and the Bay Area, I've been here for most of my life. I share the property with the rental house.

Susan was a wonderful host, bringing us lemons from her lemon tree, books that we were interested in, and recommendations for places to visit. Since we stayed at her house for 2 months, we came to feel like neighbors.
The house is as portrayed in the listing - an older home with older furnishings - which my wife would describe as comfy and quaint while I thought there was too much stuff (it all depends on your point of view). The price was great for how much space you get: a living room, dining room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bathroom, and a sun porch. You can also view the gorgeous Tucson sunrises and sunsets from the house, and step out into the backyard to gaze at the stars in the clear night sky.
We enjoyed the fact that the house was very close to shopping, 2 weekend farmers markets, and the extensive walking and biking trails along the Rillito River. Wonderful hiking and dining is just 10-20 minutes away. There's nothing better for a Minnesotan than Tucson in the winter!
Susan was wonderful! She was very flexible about arrival and departure. My parents loved her, and she helped us all have a warm, Tucson Thanksgiving. The space was cozy and inviting, and my dad said it reminded him of his grandma's house. She has such a lovely backyard, so peaceful and so much space. And the neighborhood was quiet and also convenient for shopping and getting around town.
This was my first airbnb experience and Susan surely was a great host. Although she was gone for most of my stay when we did interact she was very sweet and helpful. She was interesting to talk to as well! Her house is awesome a lot of books around the house and it was very spacious. We had a great time staying at this house I would probably be back!
Susan was very friendly, and made everything very convenient during my stay. The house is sufficiently large with the needed stuff. Wifi is slightly weak in some places.
Susan's home is clean, has nice, cool air-conditioning. There are 2 bedrooms and three separate beds. She brought us fresh fruit when we arrived and shared a discount coupon book for local sights and events which was helpful. Her own home is right next door and she was respectful of our privacy. The neighborhood is quite dark at night.
Susan is a terrific host! I didn't want the Ritz so this homey place was just right. The outdoor seating just right for a breakfast in the morning sun was a perfect tonic to the seemingly eternal hard winter of the midwest this year. Good space and good value and great host!
I rented this house for three weeks in March 2014 and would rent it again. No false advertising here - this is an older house, with older furnishings. However, it was clean and functional and Susan was a great host. She was available if I had a question and respected my privacy otherwise.
The house itself has two full bedrooms and an entry room that could become a third bedroom. I spent a lot of time in the sunroom, which was a nice space to work in. I was looking for a quiet place to relax, do some writing and use as a base for backpacking trips. This house met those needs perfectly.
Susan was a great clean guest. She was really helpful and gave us some suggestions I will be implementing.
