Susan and David live in a newly constructed log cabin home in the woods. We love country living, organic healthy meals, star gazing, and listening to the night sounds.
We enjoy meeting new friends, and sharing life's journeys with others.

We enjoyed our visit with David and Susan, enjoyed meeting them both, had a soulful sleep and hearing about their construction of the cabin (very very nice job) and life in Granville. We highly recommend others come visit and give the area a look.
This was our first airbnb stay and we enjoyed it tremendously. They set the bar high for future stays at other airbnb. We were shown our room and told to use the whole house as if our home. Susan offered to retire early but we asked that she sit and chat with her which turned into a fun evening of piecing a jig saw puzzle and interesting talk. Susan and David where very friendly hosts. Breakfast was plentiful really enjoyed our stay.
From the moment we arrived we felt like we had escaped the outer world of busy living. Susan and David welcomed us at the front porch and got us settled in our room. The accommodations are very quaint and comfortable and the cabin is a wonderful experience. The rain on the metal roof was so soothing. We enjoyed several hours chatting with our hosts around a toasty fire in the evening.
This is a perfect getaway from our home in Nashville. Only about an hour drive yet it feels like a sanctuary. We look forward to returning during the summer to explore the property, lake and town. Thank you David & Susan for a much needed retreat.
It was fun to have David and Susan--who are also Airbnb hosts--as guests. They were easygoing, considerate and especially flexible re check-in time. They used to live in Louisville so they went for dinner at a restaurant that recalled their first date. I am sure they themselves give a warm welcome to guests at their log cabin in Tennessee. Of course the room and bath were left neat and tidy.
