Rachel was an amazing and flexible host. After our transportation to her place took a turn for the worse, Rachel was extremely understanding.
The location is perfect. Near subway, Chinatown, eateries and if you cross Allen St there are some hidden gems with regards to small bars and food.
The apartment was big for New York and nice and toasty which we were surprised about considering the extreme winter storms that hit at the time.
Couldn't ask for much more. I would without a doubt stay there again.
Rachel was an amazing host, very helpful and accommodating of my arrival and departure times. The flat is lovely and extremely well situated for sightseeing and exploring manhattan and Brooklyn. I would definitely stay here again!
First, Rachel is super friendly and genuinely cares about her apartment and visitors. She made the key exchange super convenient for me too, and went out of her way to get it to me. The location was perfect for our needs, and is situated in the middle of all the LES and Chinatown action and subways. Very fun location! The apartment is pretty big for NYC standards, but the bathroom is pretty small. Overall, the apartment was everything we needed, and the bed was comfy. Only big issue for me was there was no space anywhere to put my clothes, and I had to live out of my suitcase for the most part. In the end though, a perfect base for our trip.
rachel was very easy to communicate with. her place was GREAT, centrally located to many different neighborhoods & true to the description as posted: very clean, comfortable & well-lit. the neighborhood was very convenient to restaurants, bars & transportation. all within short walking distant. her neighbors were very quiet. i would definitely come back to stay & highly recommend her place! :)
Great place! Great location! Great person to communicate with! We enjoyed NY with the City Bikes, which are just around the corner. Lots and LOTS of AMAZING food in NY to discover. No need to cook... just pick a place and sit to enjoy!
Rachel's place was the perfect home base for our first NYC visit. It is exactly as it appears in the pictures... clean, basic, and full of lovely sunlight. We found many great restaurants and bars within walking distance and it is very conveniently located near subway stations - so getting around Manhattan - and over to Brooklyn - was quick and easy. Would definitely recommend Rachel's place!
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Rachel's place. She was very communicative from the start, was flexible when we faced possible and actual delays arriving to the apartment, and checked in with us during the stay to make sure everything was going well. The apartment is in a very convenient area with lots of entertainment options nearby. The apartment itself was clean, with fresh sheets and towels ready for our stay. Thanks!
Rachel's place is fantastic! It looks just like it looks in the photos, so very bright, clean, and lots of light. Perfect for a couple. The bed is very very comfortable; I slept so well! Very nice living room and kitchen area, and nice, clean bathroom as well. The location is perfect right next to the lovely shops, cafes, and restaurants on Orchard. Rachel was a perfect host. Very available, friendly, and communicative. I would definitely stay again.
We had a great time staying at Rachel's apartment. It is sunny, bright and charming, and very conveniently located.
Rachel's house is very nice, clean and perfectly positioned: in the heart of LES, close to Soho, East Village and Chinatown. In the neighborhood there are three metro stations and a lot of bar, shops and nice places to eat something. Very interesting is the Tenement Museum, in Orchard street, about the story of immigration in New York and in LES. Rachel was very kind, flexible and careful. The bed was very comfortable, bedclothes smelled good and fresh. We recommend Rachel and her house!
