I am from the midwest (USA) and am a veterinarian and my travel partner is my husband, who is a teacher. I LOVE traveling and my most favorite destination was the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, where I spent a week on a coral island. I also adore good food--making it, learning about it and of course, eating it! The best food adventures start from finding good, local food at the market and spending the day making it into a delicious meal to be served with friends (preferably outside).
Although we like adventure, we are quiet and respectful house guests--we recognize that there are other people around us and that they may not share our same schedule and we don't want to negatively influence their trip.
