Bamboo View is the perfect nest for your visit to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Secluded in the mountain forest (and I mean SECLUDED. It may take you a time or two to get used to finding it, use a GPS), it is a lovely, spacious nest to use as a base for exploring or just for relaxing in the hot tub (a nice one!) and taking in the landscaping. I've stayed here twice, and will again! Book with confidence, you will love it.
This place is a gem. Quiet, clean and the hosts were very accommodating. The perfect spot for touring the national park especially with the private hot tub at the end of the day.
Very cool and comfortable place to stay in Volcano. We appreciated being so close to the National Park and having a cozy place to retreat to after a day of exploration, complete with a private hot tub and fireplace. We had a great stay and would highly recommend choosing to stay here for anyone looking to explore the park.
Excellent accommodations in a serene setting!
This was a lovely place to stay. The cottage was so comfortable, it was easy to relax while we were there. All of the little details were very well thought out. It may sound like a funny thing to include in a review, but I really appreciated having sharp kitchen knives! The hot tub was also a wonderful treat, it was great to relax in it at the end of the day. Thank you Brenda. I would definitely recommend the singing forest cottage to other travelers.
Amazing little cottage in a very private setting. We arrived just before check in and happened to run into Brenda who gave us the keys. The cottage has a beautiful kitchen, with gas range, small electric oven, microwave oven, refrigerator, woodstove, TV, internet, bathroom with towel warmer, bathrobes, shower which opens to the outside deck, and hottub surrounded by forest in back. It got a little cool at nights so we made good use of the woodstove. It is a perfect location if you intend to spend a few days exploring Volcanoes National Park. The cottage is equipped to
make your stay very comfortable. I recommend buying all your groceries in Kona or Hilo before you arrive because there isn't much shopping in Volcano.
We really felt in love with this pleasant cosy cottage right after we stopped at the drive way in front of it in the rainforest. GPS will lead you to the wrong direction, just follow the instruction that Brenda posted on airbnb and it is not that difficult to find. It is located just 5 miles away from the Volcanoes National Park, with small stores and restaurants nearby. It is perfect for visitors to the park: we hiked for three days and spent a afternoon and a morning resting in the cottage just listening to the rain drops. You can even go home to have a rest/lunch between hiking and then go back to see the red fume of the crater in the evening. Brenda is very nice and very responsive - we enjoyed every minutes in your cottage and mahalo for everything!

Wonderful place to stay. The place was clean and very cosy.
The pictures don't even do it justice! My fiancé and I absolutely loved our weekend stay at the Volcano Hidden Cottage, and are already looking forward to returning for our next Big Island trip! Brenda was wonderful to work with.
We had a lovely stay here. The property is isolated but pretty easy to find. It was quiet and relaxing. The hot tub was hot and quite enjoyable during the cool evening. We would definitely stay again. Our only regret is that we were there for only one night.
