> We spent 10 days in Kevin's apartment during the terrible storm Sandy. The storm caused a 5 days blackout in most of New York including the East Village and paralyzed the whole city and it's transportation. But fortunately everyone in the neighborhood was very friendly and helpful.
> Since our first contact with Kevin, through Airbnb, I realized he was very friendly, prompt in replying and precise with information. In fact, we were in contact with him also during the blackout, as he was concerned about the situation and our stay at his place, through a local friend of mine who has also arrange the home keys pick-up.
> Kevin gave us lots of helpful advices, the emergency number and offered us to stay longer at home in case of any return flight problems and cancellations.
> He has also offered dinner to my local friend to apologize for a minor setback in the pick-up of the keys.
> His apartment is located in a nice and quiet street in the East Village, is very welcoming, functional and is just as the photographs published.
> Despite all the problems caused by the hurricane we enjoyed our stay in Kevin's place thoroughly and we hope to return for another holiday.
All my best to Kevin. Very nice to be able to help him with a place to stay.
