A local through and through. I work in the area, live in the area and share the area with visitors. I look forward to sharing my space and its secrets with you soon!
A big thank you to Jane & Kris for allowing us the opportunity of enjoying our stay in Sydney in their lovely apartment.
The apartment is great, it is above a gorgeous quirky and retro antique shop, and some of this theme is carried throughout the apartment making it very different and unusual to other apartments we have stayed in..
It is situated on a bus route taking you to any of Sydney's attractions. We usually walked to Darling Harbour, Circular Quay or the central bus & train stations
It is fully equipped for everyone's needs, the two bedrooms had very large comfortable beds, just what we needed at the end of a busy 4 weeks following the British & Irish Lions rugby tour!!
We really do recommend staying here, we just wish we had more time to explore Glebe Point Road which has many beautiful coffee bars, restaurants and shops.
We would certainly return to Eclectic again.
Thank you from Gareth & Chris
Kris and Jane's unit is very comfortable for two couples and is located in the cafe district of Glebe Pt Rd.
We especially enjoyed eating breakfast at the large dining table with the morning sunlight flooding in. The king sized beds are a treat and extremely comfortable.
There is some traffic noise in the front bedroom but it gets quiet after midnight.
We'd love to stay longer next time!
Thanks for sharing your unit with us.

We had a great time staying in this Glebe apartment. It has a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and an inviting common area in which to relax. There are steep steps to get in to the apartment, but we enjoyed the second story view onto the street below. Washer and dryer were very nice to have! We would happily recommend this airbnb accommodation to friends and family.
We loved our stay at Jane and Kris's apartment. Unfortunately my husband slipped while we were walking and put his back out the afternoon of our first day and our trip was severely limited in what we could do. The location paid for itself 10 times over and it was so handy to be able to access everything and not have to go far for food or supplies.
We planned an entirely different trip of walking and browsing and it could have been horrible being stuck in a room with Brad laid up, but the space, comfort and accessibility made the 3 days just as enjoyable. We set Brad up in a chair by the window and he read his book and watched the world go by on the street below loving every minute of the great spot we were in, while I ran out for coffees and food.
While I'm not a shopper, having the shopping centre so close (and conveniently almost invisible if you don't know its there) was great for me to run out for the chemist or anything he needed.
We will most definitely visit Jane and Kris's apartment again and next time will maybe spend a day or two relaxing and not do the Manly to Spit trek the first day.
Very nice apartment in lovely area! Fully equipped with all you could need. With Kris and colleagues in the shop downstairs always close to getting help in whatever matter. We had great weeks in Glebe and Sydney!
The place was great, nice and spacious and had everything we needed. Great location too, everything at an arms reach. Kris and Pam were fantastic on the communication front too. Great holiday thanks to them and their place!
We loved staying at Jane and Paolo's apartment in Glebe. The location is fabulous. Lots of restaurants and cafes are a stone's throw away. The apartment had everything we needed. Would stay there again.
Great two bedroom apartment in the lively area of Glebe. Close to central Sydney by bus lines 431 or 433 which are right outside the apartment door. No car needed or wanted! The apartment is even close enough to take a leasurely walk into the city via Bridge Road off Glebe Point Road. There are lots of great restaurants right outside the apartment and a great furniture shop "The Works" right below the unit. Clipper Cafe was one of our favorites for coffee and breakfast or lunch. A great locals spot. Badd Manors has great veggitarian food and desserts. The Glebe Saturday market is right next door and is a fun find. The apartment it'self is comfortable and well stocked. Comfortable bed too. Would stay here again. Loved the hardwood floors and chandeliers. There are a steep set of stairs to get up to the unit. Good workout though and we did not mind. The furnishings are also a little different than pictured. Jane was very nice and answered all our questions in a timely manor. Great spot to stay in Sydney!
We had an enjoyable stay at the apartment in Glebe. The apartment catered really well for our daughter (stair gate was a great touch).
I was a little disappointed on arrival that the furniture and artwork was so different from that pictured on the site. But it's still a really nicely put together pad! Comfy beds, nice linens and well equipped.
Glebe itself is full of cafes. We stuck to Sapphos everyday for breakfast, amazing. Great tapas place for dinner just across the street (forget the name) and a new record store has just opened a restaurant/garden which we tried on opening night, looks really promising.
The Saturday market in Glebe is great, this is just next door to the apartment.
Overall a great (website hidden) the supermarket (Coles) is a 5 minute walk from the apartment, turn right and it's in the shopping centre - we didn't find this until the last day!
We loved the apartment - spacious, beautifully furnished and in a great location surrounded by shops and cafes. The hosts were very helpful, including providing everything we needed for a one-year-old (high-chair, cot, safety gate for the stairs). Would stay here any time we could.
Kris is the ideal tenant, no fuss, very reliable and left the place in excellent condition. It was great to meet you and you are welcome any time. best wishes Gail and Daniel
