I am a 31 year old Londoner. I teach Physics in an east London secondary school. I like sport, travel, having a laugh and meeting people. I also enjoy cooking and the kitchen has all utensils you will need, there is also a gas BBQ on the balcony.

We had a great time at Henry's. It was close to the Tube, bus routes, groceries. There were 4 of us and it was a good fit.
Henry's flat provides a nice, welcoming environment. It's equipped with all of the necessities. We stayed for nine nights as a group of three adults and two toddlers. Very convenient location to public transport, grocery shopping, and mainline/int'l train travel from Kings Cross/St Pancras Station. London Overground station entrance practically across the street, and Piccadilly Line within walking distance and easily accessible by frequent bus service.
Henry gives prompt responses to inquiries. He made the check-in and check-out process very easy. We found his flat to be a great value, and would recommend it to others looking to find a well-connected location with the experience of living in London.
Apartment is good, two floors, cable TV (SKY), kitchen is fully equipped. Atmosphere is also good - a lot of books, small but useful stuff inside, like a real living flat, not a guest house. Beds are also very comfortable.
Only one huge problem we faced - 1,5 bathrooms means 1 bathroom without toilette and one separate toilette here.
Caledonian Rd & Barnsbury overground is 2min from apartment, Caledonian Road underground is 8min from apartment. Bus station is 30sec away - with good connection to the different directions (also a night bus).
A lot of small supermarkets on the streets just minutes from apartment - all you need for simple breakfast and dinner.
Harry was very friendly, met us even after late arrival with flight delay.
This is not to the standard we expect from AirBnB. The beds were not comfortable (soft, springy, cheap), the furniture was threadbare and cheap, the decorative order was not good, and the place was very noisy most of the night. I agree with the comments about Henry being a good chap, but I want a nice place to stay. However, he was excellent about refunding our money when we cut short our stay because we did not like it there.
Good location within walking distance to the overground station and easy access to king's cross underground. Very nice, hospitable and helpful host. Spacious yet simple apartment with all you need for a short away from home.
Henry is an excellent host and the apartment is in a very convenient location. 5 mins away from King's Cross by bus with nearby convenient stores/supermarkets that open till pretty late at night. Awesome view from the apartment, i managed to capture really pretty sunset shots on my camera from the apartment window/balcony. Highly recommended host. Thank you Henry!
We had a great time in Henry's apartment. It was in a quiet neighborhood away from the usual touristy areas but still very much accessible by bus and tube. The apartment itself was very nice and spacious, and is able to fit 4 to 6 people comfortably well. The only possible issue if there are more than 3 people staying in the apartment is that there is only one toilet and a separate bath. However, I personally think this is negligible and is nothing a good arrangement and scheduling cant fix. Henry was also a wonderful host. He replies to all messages and was kind enough to wait for us in the apartment as our flight from Edinburgh was delayed for more than an hour. He also let us stay in the apartment until late in the afternoon during our last day since our flight was at 8 pm. We didnt feel rushed at all. I also appreciated the fact that he trusted us with his apartment and left us alone during our stay but was still accessible by email or mobile if we needed anything. I will definitely stay here again and I recommend the apartment to everyone. Thanks Henry!
It was a marvellous large appartement. Huge kithchen, living room, upstairs two sleeping rooms, enough space for a comfortable stax. The view from the 4th floor over the twon was splendid. Directly in front of the door there was running a frequent night and day bus service to kng cross (5 minutes) and directly to downtown (trafalgar square). So it was a very good place as base for visiting London.
Henry is a nice host. He give me all informations before by email and when arriving.
I canhighly recommend this nice place for others.
Henry was very attentive and the house roomy and well connected. I'd recommend this place for any trip you're considering to London.
Good apartment -all as described, every thing we needed for a weekend stay, location good, easy walk to two underground stations. Efficient pleasent communication per stay, then met Henry briefly (as we were late) who gave us a guided tour and then left us to enjoy ourselves.
Felt very safe, secure and comfortable would recommend to others and stay again.
Decent gentlement that were fine guests.
I have known Henry for over ten years and I can vouch for the fact that he is a great friend and a very decent person. He has hosted me on more than one occasion and it has always been an absolute pleasure.
Henrys flat is in a very tidy and clean block with the most amazing views of the city. The flat is very well appointed with all of the necessary modern conveniances, and by London standards is very spacious and light. The front and rear balconies are a touch in the summer, perfect for BBQs.
