Our host greeted us upon our arrival, gave us a tour of the tiny house and made sure we felt comfortable. We went during Winter during the dry cabin season and the temperature inside the house was very comfortable (no problems being cold). The cabin was clean and in good condition.
The cabin was excellent, cozy and very clean. Les was very accommodating and since it was winter he even shoveled the path for us. The location would be great in the summer and it was beautiful even in winter. We will keep this place inundated for the future.
Les was a very welcoming host and had our cabin already warmed up with fresh linens and a fully stocked kitchen. We were quite impressed with the amount of amenities that came along with the rental. Mahalo, and we hope to visit again in the summer so we may take advantage of the kayaks/canoes and the private water access.
Les was wonderful and his Tiny House was perfect, peaceful and lovely. I will be returning again when I am in the area. Thanks Les!
Les was very kind and welcoming, the place was beautiful, clean and in good order. Kitchen well equipped and toasty heat and clean water. Felt as though the listing was misleading in that the indoor fireplace turned out to be electric (when booking with les we explained that a fireplace was an absolute must) It takes about an 1hr 15 min to get to Burlington.
Our host Les was very nice and responsive. We arrived late in the day and he was very accommodating to my teenage daughters need to have a blow up bed to sleep in in lieu of sharing a bed. Teens! Also the DVD player didn't work so he replaced it with a new one.
The picture is somewhat deceiving in that the cabin is behind the main cabin, so you cannot see the dock unless you walk outside and around the other house. Plenty of outdoor water activities although we didn't have enough time to enjoy them.
Biggest concern was the smell of the sulfur water! It was awful and we did not shower or drink the water. Don't know if this is all the time? Perhaps not.
Les greeted me upon arrival and showed me the tiny house. It was clean and comfortable. I was curious about living in a tiny house and Les was a good source of information. I enjoyed my stay.
Les greeted us and showed us around. The cabin was nice - a short walk away from the lake. Aside from a dog barking, it was quiet and peaceful. We had a nice weekend.
The cabin was the perfect getaway for a quick weekend trip; Les was very accomodating and welcomed us with a tour of the cabin. The cabin was quaint and included all the amenties one would need for quality R&R at a reasonable price. Complete with your own grill, small patio, Netflix and wifi connection, our wants were also met.
Similar to other reviews, the water does have a strong sulfur smell however that seems like it would be par for the course for cabin-life by a lake.
Access to Lake Champlain was easy, literally a short walk from the cabin via a private sidewalk that led to the private dock. The dock was a bit worn, but quenched our thirst for the perfect sunset with wine in hand.
Finally, make sure you take Les' paddle boat out on the lake and put your calves to the test. Retire at night with some quality craft brews and dinner next to the lake-front firepit.
All in all, we highly recommend Les' cabin.
Les was very welcoming, greeting us after a long drive up north after work, he gave us the full tour, including the dock and the grounds.
The house is well designed and gorgeous, easy to heat, and cozy.
We loved our stay at this tiny cabin and would recommend it to anyone who is able to climb a ladder.
