James' place is wonderful. It's exactly as described and he's such a wonderful host and super accommodating. If you sleep with the window open you can expect a little SanFrancisco street noise otherwise it's a nice location - close to major freeways taking you north and south and parking was never an issue.
I stayed at James' place for almost a month. Right from the get go, James made sure I had everything I'd need. His place is really spacious and uniquely decorated. The area felt really safe, and I had no trouble with parking at all. The Muni is also a convenient 5 minute walk on 3rd Street, and of course Uber and Lyft can take you anywhere in the city. The condo is pretty close to the Mission too. Would definitely recommend staying here especially if you don't want to pay those exorbitant Airbnb prices staying just a mile away.
We had a great time in San Francisco, and James was an excellent host. The apartment was great, and everything was prepared for our stay. James also gave us tips and was always helpful. The neighbourhood was quiet, with a very easy access to downtown. We would defenitely recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to stay in San Francisco.
James was a nice host! He gave us all the info we needed prior to arrival and was easy to reach if we needed anything.
The apartment was spacious, though lacked central heating and was not in walking distance to anything fun.
My boyfriend and I stayed 5 nights at Jame's loft. We felt like we were home our entire stay. Everything advertised was exactly what was provided for our stay there. James had everything we could've thought of and more! The umbrella hanging by the entryway coat hanger was more than helpful during drizzly days in SF during our stay. Although we didn't have the chance to meet James in person, he was more than helpful via text message. His responds were almost instantaneous and he gave us some awesome SF native tips/guides on places to eat/drink/get around town. The location was perfect and parking was plenty! Thanks for your hospitality James!
James was an excellent host, he was very communicative and friendly. The place was tidy, bright, comfortable and spacious. It was a little ways out of town but transit was close by and frequent so it was a non issue. Not a whole lot of ammenities within the immediate vicinty, but once again transit was close by so it really wasn't a problem. It is easy to get to and from the airport as well which was a plus. I would stay here again next time I am in San Francisco.
Great experience and James was a fantastic host! The loft was perfect for our trip to SF. Clean and in a great location! We would certainly be happy to stay there again!!
We had a great stay here. It's in the bottom corner of the Dogpatch, which is .5 miles from most spots but very accessible by car to pretty much anything. James is great and punctually available, and the place is wonderfully open and simple.
James was a fabulous host, going out of his way to make sure that everything was okay for my brief stay in San Francisco. While the apartment wasn't an easy walk from main attractions, it was a great place to grab Uber rides from all weekend, precisely because it wasn't in a heavy traffic area. The apartment itself was secure, comfortable and spacious with a lot of natural light. Thanks James!
After 4 weeks of traveling arriving at James' apartment was like coming home. Everything was exactly as described: spacious, cosy, bright and clean. Although James was not around we got everything organized very smoothly. As promised you can find lots of parking in front of the door and you haven't to pay a single buck what is definitely a big advantage when you are traveling by car. The city center is a 20 minute ride away with the T-Line which stops close by (5 minute walk) but there is also plenty to discover around: Just head north on 3rd Street (15 minute walk or 2 T-Line stops) and you will find great bars and restaurants.
As we did a lot of sightseeing during the day we enjoyed two relaxing evenings on James' couch watching the SF Giants play. A further asset is the roof access of the flat, we were glad to enjoy some sunshine there.
All in all we can really recommend James as a host and his place as being a perfect choice for passing some days in San Francisco.
James is very easy going, helpfull and clean, you can receive him with no doubt
I met Jayme a few years back through a mutual friend who lived down the street. The neighborhood is arguably the sunniest in San Francisco and if you know anything about sunshine in San Francisco you know it's hard to come by. This area is safe and quiet in the evening and there's plenty of tasty restaurants nearby such as Chez Maman, Goat Hill Pizza, Sunflower, Plow, etc..the list goes on and on.... The location is easy to get to and from (easiest with a car but public transportation runs here as well) and the views of downtown are the BEST around these parts. Jayme's place is clean and tidy and cheaper than the majority of hotels or sublets you may find on (website hidden) or other websites. He's a trustworthy and stand-up guy and you really can't go wrong by staying here.
