It was amazing to stay in their place, we felt home. They were very kind and courteous, helped us in everything we needed. The neighborhood was calm, quite, beautiful and a great base to explore Dublin. I recomend.
Thanks to Michelle and Mark we had a wonderful time in Dublin! They've always been very kind and helpful with everything. On our first day they gave us a lift to the supermarket in order to provide us with some groceries although they didn't have to. Also, we didn't have to worry about breakfast, there was always a lovely arranged table for us in the morning. If we had any questions or asked for advice, Michelle and Mark didn't hesitate to answer or to give us recommendations, especially when it comes to pubs and restaurants. A thing I really appreciated was when I didn't feel well for a while, they left us the apartment for the day so I could feel even more comfortable and get well soon. There were a lot of these little things that made our stay very pleasant like asking us how our day was or helping us planning our tour through Ireland.
We were really lucky to found their apartment here in Airbnb (our first experience) and we would definitely recommend it to every one who is thinking about staying in Dublin for more than just a few days!
We had the best experience we could ever have exploring Ireland with Michelle and Mark. They are PERFECT, warm and welcoming hosts and they are always there to help in all ways —I highly recommend.
We felt comfortable and secure the very moment Michelle sent us the first message on Airbnb and It wasn't any different when we first met her upon arrival. She showed us the apartment as she explained everything in details. She treated us as friends and made us feel at home the moment we met her. We often had good chats about our country and culture as we drank beer and ate crisps. They helped us planning our trip patiently, we didn't feel the need to get worried for a thing. She daily asked us about our trip, if we were comfortable enough and offering a hand to help if necessary. She really cares. She even made us tea the day we got "home" all wet from the rain and in our last night she made yummy pizza and garlic bread, we had a good chat and we took funny selfies. The experience was so great it was really hard to leave.
The place is very well located near bus lines with easily access to the city center. The grocery store is just 5 minutes walking and you can go for a walk at Tolka Park which is located few minutes from the place. So if you're thinking about booking the room don't worry, you'll have everything you need close to you.
The bedroom is even better than described. We found ourselves with our chin in our hands with every detail. The double bedroom is clean, comfortable and modern and we felt very cozy during our stay. You'll find everything you need in the ensuite with all the amenities described. So do us a favor and don't think twice about booking the room, this will be a very good experience for you.
Fantastic experience !!!
Great meeting with a lovely couple. Mark and Michelle are very friendly, sympathic and dynamic. We were welcomed as friends, they always gave us good advices about everything.
The accomodation was completely like in the pictures, it is appreciable to have his own bathroom and a balcony for sunny days :-) . We highly recommend this place !!
This was my first experience booking a private room instead of a full apartment and I must tell I wasn't disappointed at all. This couple is very friendly and helpful to tell me what Dublin and Ireland had to offer, fun to talk, and made me feel as if we had been friends for ages. They both cook perfectly so that's just another reason to stay again. Tolka park is 100m away from the place and I had nice time jogging there.
We had a wonderful experience with our stay at Michelle and Mark's beautiful Dublin home! They are warm and welcoming hosts - highly recommended!
Michelle was available to greet us upon arrival. She immediately gave us the specifics on the unit, building location, and city attractions - then asked all about our trip across Ireland over afternoon tea. She made us feel at home, even placing a couple of beers and snacks in our room! In the morning, she would lay out breakfast items: cereal, crumpets, bagels, jams, butters, tea, etc. for us to help ourselves.
The unit itself was very clean and modern, with amenities provided in the ensuite bathroom. The apartment complex is conveniently located near bus lines that go right into the city center. My husband and I had no problems at all navigating the Dublin bus system.
The last night of our stay, we were able to visit with Michelle and Mark. We had a lovely chat and were treated with a delicious homemade soup - ask them for their Chorizo Bean soup recipe!
Michelle arranged for our cab to the airport the next morning, then woke up bright and early to send us off. If considering staying with Michelle and Mark, please do yourselves a favor and book it. They are amazing people!
It was such a wonderful trip! We had a great time in Dublin and Michelle and Mark made it perfect! They have done it so easy and comfortable for us, that it felt nearly like home. We were so happy about the lovely room with our own bath and the breakfast in the morning! We enjoyed our stay a lot and would do it the same next time!

Michelle and Mark have been wonderful hosts. We stayed there for 1 week and it was the best imaginable beginning of our exchange term. They gave us such a warm welcome that we felt like home from the first moment on. Both of our rooms (Bedroom and Bathroom) were tidy and exactly like in the pictures from Airbnb. The apartment is not far away from the city center and the buses come very often. There is a huge Tesco close to the apartment, we felt safe in the area and the Tolka Valley Park offers a beautiful opportunity for relaxing. Michelle and Mark took great care of us and helped us enormously with planning our stay. They are really open-minded, intrested in other cultures, talkative and totally friendly. We honestly enjoyed our time with them so in the end it was hard to leave. We found great new friends in Michelle and Mark :)
Thank you so much for this experience :)
Michelle made my mother and I feel very welcome and at home. The spacious and bright double room was so airy and lovely. Michelle and Mark were very welcoming and treated us to some tea and snacks upon our arrival, and gave us a lot of good advice about things to see and do nearby. They are exceptionally organized and this made our stay so much easier and enjoyable. The location is outside Dublin centre, but seeing as we had been to Dublin before and had exhausted the centre, it was nice to see another part of Dublin. Within walking distance to the National Botanic Gardens and Glasnevin Cemetary (both worth a visit if you are there). Nearby buses can get you to the centre and back fairly easily. Mostly, it was Michelle's warm hospitality that made this stay so memorable. Thanks!!!
Thank you Michelle and Mark for reserving our home stay and sure you were comfortable and happy.
They also run a home stay in Ireland and if any body wants to visit Ireland look for Michelle and Mark and no further and they were absolutely gorgeous.
They were also very clean and returned the house the way it was and thank you Michelle and also recommend to any host.
I am sorry we wanted to do something extra but time was limited.
Wishing the young couple nothing but the best of everything in life.
Michelle and Mark were a delightful couple, and we were so lucky to meet them through Airbnb. They were very easy to please, and appreciated even the little things we provided in our home . we wish them well and hope they enjoy the rest of their stay in Sri- Lanka.,
