In my other life, I'm a Chef in Phoenix at The First Street Cafe. Making soups for distribution to Shop N Kart Market and Rays Markets where they are self served hot soups to go.
Was road tripping through the coasts and popped through Medford on my way back. I stayed at some other cheap motels before I finally realized how much better AirBnB was. This apartment in Medford is a prime example: it was the same cost as a cruddy motel but it was super clean, had ample space and was close to some interesting stuff.
This great place was easy to check in, could easily fit a lot of people and is within walking distance to historic downtown Medford. There is food, shops and bars all within a short stroll - that's important if you plan to hit the bars.
Highly recommended to stay here if you're in Medford.
Jill's unit was delightful. Antique furnishing in the bedroom, lots of interesting touches throughout. Both the bed and the pullout couch were comfortable, everything worked, the unit was clean and well furnished. I was surprised to learn that we could walk to three or four good restaurants just a few blocks away. The neighborhood was quiet and clean. There is easy access to Ashland via Route 99 or the freeway.
Very cozy and convenient accommodations, close to downtown. We enjoyed our stay, and will definitely return. One word of warning: the bed in the bedroom is extremely, and puzzlingly, high off the floor. My husband and I (senior citizens) are tall people, but we both struggled climbing into the bed until we found the little step-stools tucked away under the bed. Be sure to look for them before retiring for the night!
Exactly what we needed. Nice tidy place to stay. We arrived later than expected and Jill was very accommodating. The backyard was nice for our dog to sniff around and have a space to play.
We stayed at the slightly smaller one on the Left. Surprisingly nice accommodations especially for the price. The place was very clean, check in and out was a breeze. Great internet and TV. Street is not too busy, and very near downtown. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a convenient, affordable, and comfortable hotel alternative. Thanks!
What an adorable little home! It was immaculate and just right for my needs. My dog loved the little garden in spite of the pouring rain. I just loved the old-fashioned shower with the curtain around it. I highly recommend this to any weary traveler.
Cute little apartment in Medford - perfect for our quick stop through the town on our way up to Seattle! Thanks, Jill :)
This spot is very close to Downtown and the restaurants. It is clean and it was great to be able to cook in a well stocked kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the space clean. The bathroom was well stocked with towels and wash clothes. All in all a good solid place to stay in southern Oregon!
This was a nice and cozy place to stay. Everything was as described. Wish we had the chance to stay and enjoy the place a little longer. There's a great backyard and it's very close to downtown.
Jill made my first airbnb experience stress free! I had a question before booking, and she responded within minutes. She gave a lot of useful information in the ad and in private messages, and she's very flexible. And if there had been a problem, it was good to know that I could easily reach her. The apartment is really well maintained and clean, the internet connection was great, and there are a lot of extra touches in there to make you feel at home.
