This was the perfect place for myself and my classmate. Rebekah was in contact me with me a few days prior to my arrival. Rebekah left a binder that contained very detailed information about not only the apartment itself, but also the neighbourhood.
When the weather was nice, it was a short 15 minute walk to campus. When it snowed, I used uber and it did not cost me more than $6 from various parts of campus. There is a grocery store (elm market) that is 2 blocks away.
This was my first AirBnB experience and it was incredible. I felt as though I was staying at a friends place. The apartment was spacious and it just felt like home. The neighbours were very friendly as well! I had classmates that stayed in nearby hotels and those did not even come close to what you get here. In my opinion, the pictures and descriptions provided about the Sweet Carriage house do not do it justice as it was much better in person!
I highly recommend this place!
Rebekah's house was great. I was meeting a friend there for 3 nights to do some writing on our novel. We went during a very cold week in March, and the house was warm and cozy. The house was very clean and well organized and the instructions were very clear. The house is tucked away so it is very quite, and the neighborhood was so pretty. Across the street from a park and walking distance to many restaurants and a great little coffee shop. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in New Haven.
The apartment was simply adorable and so cozy! We had clear instructions and everything was just as advertised. The location is fantastic and was within walking distance of a lot of good places. Rebekah set up everything so that we would feel comfortable at her home! We had a great time! I would absolutely recommend her apt to anyone!
Rebekah was a gracious host, extremely helpful beforehand and she provided us with detailed instructions about accessing her apartment. The apartment itself was comfortable, cosy and tastefully appointed. It's very easy to get to and from Yale's main campus, and of course very close to the station. We had a very enjoyable stay, thank you.
We had a very positive experience at the Sweet Carriage House. We have been visiting New Haven for several years and very much enjoyed our stay. The location is a ten minute walk to Old Campus and only a couple of minutes from the park at Wooster Square and the restaurants in Little Italy. The Carriage House has plenty of room and the living area, bedroom and kitchen are spacious compared to hotel options in town. Everything was very clean and Rebekah was both responsive to our questions and a gracious host.
Rebekah's place was lovely~ very central location (about 10 minutes to Yale campus), and very cozy and welcoming space. Would absolutely recommend to others.
Beautifully laid out apartment. Close to all the best bits of new haven town.
We had a lovely weekend. Perfect for couples
We really enjoyed the stay at your place. The location is good for visiting Yale, for eating at little italy or visiting the farmers market. We liked the kind of loft atmosphere and it is so well equipped that we didn't miss anything.
Thank you for replying our mails so quickly.

We loved everything about this place! Lovely appartement, great location, goooood food close by :-). We'd love to come back here!
The carriage house was nice, great windows in front room that kept it cool at night. The futon was easy to use and very comfortable. Parking was easy with the provided permit; was always able to park within a block or so. The Wooster neighborhood and park are pleasant to walk, excellent Italian food and coffee nearby.
New Haven is a diverse city with great restaurants, bookstores, etc. surrounding the Yale campus. I highly recommend the Yale University Arts Gallery and the Yale Collection of Musical Instruments, if you're so inclined.
Rebekah is very responsive and provided all the information we needed for a very pleasant stay.
Rebekah was a wonderful guest. She is nice, quiet and left the apartment tidy and clean. We would definitely host her again.
Rebekah was friendly, flexible, easy to communicate with, and left the place clean. Would definitely host her again!
Rebekah was a great guest. We would like to welcome her again.
Rebekah and her friends were a pleasure to host! She comes highly recommended for being very cool, respectful of my home, and clean. Would host her again any time!
It was great to have Rebekah stay with us - unfortunately only for a very short time. She's a cheerful, uncomplicated person and easy to talk to. She left the apartment super clean! Rebekah is welcome to stay with us again any time !
Rebekah is a perfect tenant ! I hope to see her again very soon in Rome.
