I'm a filmmaker and pro-video editor based in Nashville, Tennessee.
I love traveling to new places and seeing the local sights; especially amazing restaurants and indie record stores! I usually travel to see friends or family, but I'm also known to take the occasional self-discovery journey and just kind of get lost in a new place for a few days. I also love to camp and hike, and I'm really into road cycling, so a trip to Paris for the final stage of the Tour de France is in my future.
As a filmmaker, I tend to take tons of photos and videos during my travels and edit them together into little bite-size documentaries. Eventually I'm hoping to edit them all together into one big globetrotting video mixtape.
Things I can't live without: my Mac (I do most, if not all, my work on it), my iPhone (okay, I'm kind of an Apple fanboy, but it's so useful!), a comfy bed (I take my sleep pretty seriously, haha), my camera, and my bike.
In the last few years I've traveled to Cincinnati, St. Louis, Los Angeles, Denver, Tampa, Atlanta, Chicago, and Kansas City, Missouri. Some great adventures were had in all of them, but I think Denver and hiking/camping in the Rockies made a deep impression on me. It's the most beautiful place I've been yet. I'm still aching to experience Oahu, San Francisco, Portland, Rome, Sydney, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Dublin, Tokyo, and Berlin.
As a traveler, I'm usually just happy with a quiet, comfortable place to rest. I'm not too demanding as a guest. I'm not shy, but I'm always respectful of others, so I try to keep my noise levels down, and I treat others' places the same way I would treat my own. That is to say I keep things clean and I make my bed, haha.
