Jutta's apartment is great. Lots of room and surrounded by great cafes, restaurants and shops. An authentic experience of old Berlin.
Jutta left us well prepared and responded quickly to any requests we had. Thanks Jutta.
We had the best time in Juttas apartment! The location is perfect, Wuchlistrasse became my favourite street in whole Berlin. Do not miss to eat breakfast at Datcha and take a beer at some of the many bars around the corner with the punk rockers. The apartment were fresh, clean and had the wonderful authentic feeling of Eastern Berlin with it's little odd fitment and decorations. We actually felt it was bigger in reality than in the pictures since the ceiling was so high and the rooms were very bright. I will naturally choose to live in Juttas apartment again.
We met Jutta one time and she was very nice, gentle and open minded. It couldn't have been better.
Jutta's apartment is an absolutely delightful place to stay in a wonderful area of Berlin. Very well-decorated and close to a tram stop and two train lines - but there's so much to do in the area we found lots of wonderful little shops, restaurants bars and cafe in the neighborhood. Jutta was very helpful and professional, and easy to communicate with. If you are thinking about renting this place, I would!
Bei unserem Aufenthalt haben wir nichts vermisst.
A great apartment in a cool neighbourhood in Berlin. Jutta was a great host, recommending us some decent restaurants and the apartment was warm, quiet and relaxing.
We spent four nights in Jutta's apartment with our 8-year-old son who enjoyed his huge bedroom. Although nearly spring, it was bitterly cold in Berlin but the flat was comfy with the old gas heaters. We loved the flat and the area, felt very much at home. Not for those seeking luxury, but for those looking for character and charm.
We really enjoyed staying in Juttas apartment! The location is great, and the apartment has a lovely atmosphere and is very nice and quiet at night.
We will return!
The apartment was classic Berlin and really nice to sleep in the cold winter. It is so convenient to go to bars/clubs and meet friends. Lovely shop just directly next door that sells vintage clothing as well!
We had great time in Jutta’s apartment. It’s perfectly located in Friedrichshain — my favorite area of Berlin. Cool cafes, restaurants and bars are everywhere and there’s even a Tram right in front of the door. You have just couple of minutes walk to the nearest U and S-Bahn, making it very easy to get around Berlin.
If you want to stay in a typical old east Berlin apartment, this should be your choice. It has a great kitchen and two large bedrooms. The decoration and the cool furniture will easily make you feel at home :)
Jutta is great and the communication went smoothly.
Our group of four all really enjoyed our 6 night stay in Jutta's apartment. It was presented just as shown in the photos, making it a truly authentic East Berlin apartment experience -- fun and quirky, yet welcoming, homely and comfortable.
The heating in the apartment was not a problem for us, and the wireless Internet was great. We really appreciated having all the pots, pans and cooking utensils provided in the kitchen, as we cooked a large New Year's Day meal for all our friends -- the apartment will accommodate 8 dinner guests just nicely, as it turns out!
The location of the apartment is fantastic -- you have all of Friedrichshain right on your doorstep, with plenty of good bars, restaurants and eateries nearby (plus a handy Späti right downstairs!) and easily accessible U-Bahn, S-Bahn and tram links.
Jutta herself is very friendly and infallibly helpful and quick to respond to any questions, no matter how trivial. She gave us a very warm welcome and a thorough tour of the apartment when we arrived, even though it was nearly 11 at night.
If you're looking to live like a local for an authentic Berlin experience, rather than staying in a hotel like so many other tourists, Jutta's apartment is hard to beat. We are certainly going to try and come back and stay here again in the future!
