I'm a 30-something teacher, and I have two cats. I stay pretty busy between my friends and work. I am likely to give guests their privacy, but I do like to have good conversation, sharing the occasional cup of tea or glass of wine on the porch.

I had a good week staying at Tamara's.. The room was comfortable and I had access to all I needed in her home. The place is very quiet and very well decorated. Tamara is a good host and I enjoyed my discussions with her. I would definitely come back....
The house was just what she posted and the room was cozy.
My stay here was very nice and comfortable. Very beautiful and nice cozy home. Tamara was really helpful!!!
I stayed with Tamara for a couple of days. She was generous to pick me up from the nearest train station. The room and house were very clean and she had also some candies in the room. She is a really nice and helpful host and I would love to stay with her again. Thanks
Tamara was incredibly welcoming! She picked me up from the train station and made me feel right at home. My room was very warm, clean, and relaxing. The cats are super nice and loving as well!
I felt very welcome the entire time I was there. As I was only in town for a night to interview for a residency position, I actually did not have the pleasure of meeting Tamara. However, she remained in contact with me the entire time to make sure my my needs were met and my experience was a positive one.
Tamara was very welcoming and helpful. I stayed here for just a night before an interview in Philadelphia, and she was kind enough to drive me to the nearby grocery store which saved me a lot of stress. She has two cats who are super friendly, so if you're a cat person you're gonna love 'em! The room is as described, clean and comfortable for a great price.
Room was perfect and the house was beautiful inside. Her cats are incredibly friendly and Tamara was a very gracious host. I only stayed for one evening but the location was perfect for my visit to Philly.
Tamara was a wonderful host. When I arrived, the room was in a clean, organized condition, and Tamara had laid out a bottle of water, some protein bars, toilettries, towels, some guidebooks and maps of Philadelphia (Germantown, in particular), and a guide she collected with house rules, maps to the closest grocery stores, and other useful tidbits. Her cats, Jasper and Beatrix, were friendly and curious, but also not opposed to being shut out of the room after I'd gotten my fill of snuggles. Tamara herself was warm and welcoming, willing to have a chat in the kitchen and hang out, but also happy to give me my space to work and relax.
Just for info: I commuted to Center City every day (from the Queen Lane station), and found the walk and time on the train to be more than reasonable. I walked for about 10 minutes to the station, and was on the train for about 20, give or take.
Tamara's home was clean, quiet, and as depicted in the photos. I really enjoyed my time there and am looking forward to staying with her again when I return to Philly.
Tamara was very nice and super accommodating! The home was not located in the most desirable part of town. Although there was plenty of street side parking and I never had any issues. The photos were not completely accurate.
