I'm a 29 year-old social entrepreneur and global education consultant from Washington DC currently working for The Aspen Institute and based in NY. I'm also working in partnership with the UN on a project that I am very passionate about. I travel often and when I do I tend to stay a while i.e.

I never thought I'd live in NY but I must admit that I love this city. I also love cooking and tweeting. One of my favorite things is finding great clothing. Goodwill and Barneys are my usual stomping ground. I like cats and dogs. I love to run for miles. I like languages and I speak some. I also like being with my family and friends. I don't mind sharing more about myself so feel free to ask questions.
I am listening to Love Inks and remixes by Lana del Rey
I am reading "I am Malala"
I am watching Homeland and Orange is the New Black
I am working ALL of the time
I like to leave quaint and charming notes for my hosts or surprise gifts. I like to have a map of the city or a few tips on hand when I arrive. If you leave that for me you get something special. I will never stop traveling and so far I've done pretty well. Besides the places that I've lived, I've also traveled all over - Denmark, Kenya, Brazil, Czech Republic. It goes on. I like America. It's my home and I embrace it. The South can be sexy. All those broken down barns and tractors will drive you wild. It's freeing. Check it out before you die.
