My boyfriend and I are young professionals. We live in Toronto in a big clean loft. We have respect for people and the space around us. Thanks,

I had a wonderful stay. Emma's place was exactly as advertised. It is a perfect location in Toronto and communicating with Emma as well as check in/out was seamless. I'd stay here again any time.
We were in Toronto on our honeymoon and had spent a couple of nights in a plush hotel. Emma's place was far better. A lovely, spacious flat with a great kitchen-dining room and a beautiful bedroom, complete with a 'princess and the pea' bed. You'll see what I mean when you get there.
Emma was a helpful and friendly host and was always on hand if we needed anything; from restaurant suggestions to a fuse changing.
There is no TV and you won't need one. The place is right in the middle if the coolest part of town. The best drinks and foods we found for the whole trip were all within a couple of blocks, making it a great launch pad for foodies. Dark Horse coffee shop on the corner will sort you out the morning after. If not, walk the other way to Rock Lobster for one of their famous Caesars, complete with a whole lobster tail.
We adored the whole city, fell in love with Queen Street West and loved staying at Emma's. Thanks for having us.
Mama was an excellent host! She provided us with all of the check in information ahead of time including photos. The apartment itself was very well coated and met all of our needs. Thanks again, Emma! We would definitely stay again.
This was our second time staying at Emma's fantastic apartment, and we couldn't be more thrilled with our experience. It is such a comfortable home, with everything you could possibly need made thoughtfully available. The location is perfect for accessing the best parts of the downtown core, while still providing a quiet retreat (the back patio is wonderful!) to decompress from your day. We look forward to continuing to make this our "home away from home" when we visit our hometown of Toronto!
Emma was the perfect host, easy to communicate with, flexible, and very welcoming. Her place is comfy, big, and just as you see in the pictures -- everything you could want from a vacation spot in Toronto. It's ideally located, in the middle of all the great shops and cafes of Queen Street West, with easy access to two streetcar lines. Of the many times I've visited the city, this was my favorite by far -- due in large part to staying at Emma's.
The location of the flat was perfect - on the street car line and close to restaurants, coffee shops and shopping. Although on a busy street, it was surprisingly quiet at night with the bedroom at the back of the flat. The rooms were spacious and clean and there were lots of amenities. The bed was very comfortable and the shower in the bathroom was great. We also enjoyed the small deck out back. While we did not meet Emma, she was quick to respond to emails/text messages and left some nice personal touches in the apartment to make us feel very welcome. I would happily stay here again!
Great place to stay. Clean, spacious, airy, and fully equipped. Much better than a hotel stay. Convenient to coffee shops, restaurants, shopping, groceries, and transportation. Most important for us, close to family. Queen Street West is always busy but the apartment was very quiet. Bonus was having deck at the back, great to relax on after a busy day. Emma was an excellent host, easy to contact and kept in touch.
We stayed in Emma's lovely Queen West Loft while visiting Toronto to cover the annual film festival. The apartment was in a perfect location - close enough to the festival to be able to walk or, if we were feeling lazy, then the street car was just across the road - but far enough away for us to feel that we were escaping at the end of the day. The apartment itself is in a great location with lots of cafes and restaurants right outside the door. We especially liked Teroni for dinner and their bakery Sud for croissants in the morning. It was also great to have Loblaw's- a really top notch supermarket at walking distance for provisions. It meant that we were able to use Emma's well equipped kitchen on numerous occasions when we didn't feel like going out. The late Toronto summer weather meant that we were even able to barbecue on the deck one evening. It felt as though we were really were on holiday in Toronto - even though we were working. The apartment itself, felt like a home from home. It was a welcoming space, not super trendy or, strictly speaking, five star. It is rather someone's very loved home to which you felt you had been especially invited and one of the nicest things was Emma's completely lack of pettiness about sharing. The kitchen cupboards have all the basic foodstuffs - oil, sugar, flour and so on - with messages everywhere that guests should help themelves to whatever is there - an extremely nice touch, as were the bathroom provisions - soap, toothpaste, cotton wool etc, again with the note, 'In case you forgot to bring your own'. The flat was clean, spacious and quiet ( despite being on a main road) and Emma was always a quick to respond to any queries. She even emailed when it rained to let me know there were umbrellas in the wardrobe. Extemely generously, she also allowed us to keep the apartment until the evening when we were returning to England as we had a late flight out of Toronto. Very much appreciated by us. All in all, a great stay. Thanks very much.
Emma and her husband are the nicest people ever. If you have a question, they have the answer. If you have a problem, they have the solution. Always available , always ready to help . Their place makes you feel at home. Everything is very well organized and detailed. The apartment is beautiful, large and very tastefuly decorated. The terrace is clearly a big plus. As for location, it's perfect: close to all the cool restaurants and fashion/trendy spots in Toronto. I highly recommend this place. If you are going to Toronto, you need to consider this apartment!
We didn't rent Emma's place for ourselves, but rather for a colleague who was visiting from out of town. However, the colleague did say that the flat was beautiful, clean and well-maintained; that the terrace was an unexpected treat; and that the location was ideal. She also found Emma to be an exceptional hostess and particularly liked the little notes Emma left around the flat informing the occupant of this and that...a very sweet and homey touch.
emma was a great guest..friendly,independent and clean...
Emma and Aryton were wonderful guests and I wish they could've stayed longer! They were funny, respectful, and an overall joy to be around. I hope they stop through again so we can chat about cars and motorcycles more! Thanks guys!
Emma was great...would be happy to have her back in the future!
