I'm and my mom in love with Sonali's place!!! The Apatment is really cozy, comfortable. Full-furnished kitchen with any devices you need or spices to cook. The guest room is rather small but for just to sleep and get dressed its ok, even for two persons( I stayed with my mom, and we feel comfortable there) . The only one point -it's a small wardrobe, but it's individual. The apartment is clean and Sonali takes care about it. She is very very friendly and hospitable person!! Also she's an amazing cooker) And its just 2stops by L train to manhattan, 10min and you are at Union sq. It's a lot of nice restaurants near Sonali's place, big supermarket with everything you need and the area is really safe: cool, stylish people around. I would like to stay again at Sonali's place!! Thank you for the great vocation!
Sonali was a very welcoming and sociable hostess. Her appartment is small but well divided, tastefully decorated and with loads of daylight. My friend and I had our own room, which was clean and spacious enough for both of us. Thank you Sonali for a comfortable stay!!
Our stay for my wife and I at Sonali´s place was exactly on the week that Hurricane Sandy hitted NYC. We couldn´t have chosen a better place to stay because we were lucky that neither electricity or internet were off.We felt very safe at Sonali´s place
She was very helpful and emphatic about the whole situation, because she gave us tips of where to go around the neighborhood and also join us in some occasions.
The apartment is small but well distributed and with all the amenities that could make you feel comfortable. We had our private room with clean sheets and towels and a very comfy matress, specially to rest for the long walks we had around NYC.
Williamsburg is a nice and chic neighborhood were you may find great local business were you could grab a bite or have a drink. L train subway station is by most a 8 mins walking distance and this take you directly to Manhattan in 20 minutes or less. Definitvely we´ll love to retun to Sonali´s place!!
Sonali, thank you again for all our extreme vacation trip, we couldn´t had made it with out you.
we stayed 4 days at Sonalis place and enjoyed every second of it. Sonali is a wonderful host who makes you feel at home right away. Her appartment is not huge, but the bedroom we had is roomy enough for 2 people and sharing the bathroom never was a problem at all. The appartmentbuilding is located on a busy street , but after a day of walking the streets of New York you sleep so tight that you hardly hear any streetnoise or Sonali, when she gets up for work. Across the street you find grocery stores and a good equipped wine store , just 2 blocks away on Grand and Leonard we have found our favourite cafe to have breakfast or lunch ( Willburg cafe - watch out by ordering a large cafe au lait - never had such a enourmous mug before - but sooo good ) , the subway is just a 5 minute walk away - perfect.. The neigbourhood might not be very pretty but we felt safe at all times.
If we ever plan to come back to New York we would love to stay with Sonali again.
Thanks, dear , for everything but especially for that gorgeous evening at Robertas ! Best wishes from Lara and Iris
My boyfriend and I had a great time staying at Sonali's place. The apartment is pretty cool, clean and greatly located. Williamsburg is a very relaxed, safe, multifaceted neighborhood with tons of coffee shops, restaurants, shops and bars. The apartment is close to the metro which brings you to Union Square in around 10 minutes.
We had our own room with a comfortable bed, clean sheets and towels and even AC which is a huge plus! The apartment itself was also clean and we were allowed to help ourselves which was very kind of Sonali. We were able to come and go as we pleased since we had our own key. So we enjoyed flexibilty as well as privacy and we were grateful that Sonali trusted us the way she did. She was an awesome host and though we hardly saw each other (unfortunately!!), she gave us tips for bars and restaurants and also a cheap cab company which was very helpful. We highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit or work in NYC and needs an affordable accommodation!! We would definitely stay with Sonali again if we come to the city once more!!
I had an awesome time staying with Sonali! The room was very nice, and the apartment clean, comfortable, and cozy. The location is incredible, as well! Very close to multiple trains, and located in the middle of Williamsburg, an incredibly fun neighborhood. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
