Beth is a perfect host. She couldn't make you feel any more welcome. The next time we visit Warren PA we'll see if she has a room open.
Staying at Beth's place was amazing. Felt right at home and meet two other great travelers. The accommodations were great, and I was served a delicious breakfast upon waking up. I would definitely recommend staying here!
Beth was accurate with her listing, timely with her replies, very informative about the area, welcoming and friendly.
all in all, it was a nice stay in a nice neighborhood and I will stay there again if i find myself in the area
This is our second visit with Beth and we cannot say enough positive things about Beth. Visiting this place is like visiting a great family member that completely opens her home and make you feel welcome. Just go there!
Beth is fantastic. So is the location. Great hikes and beautiful overlooks!
This is a very nice room in a beautifully decorated home, but what really make the experience is Beth, the host. She truly wants you to feel welcome and not only provides access to all of the comforts of her home, but also goes out of her way to make sure you have anything you need to feel at home (in our case, this included pie!). She is a charming and engaging host; someone you would be going back to visit even if you weren't staying overnight. We will, however, be going back on our visits to Warren.
This was my first experience with airbnb, and it was wonderful. My girlfriend and I wanted a weekend trip to hike near Kinzua Dam and head to Southern Tier brewery. Beth couldn't have been more accommodating or done any more to make us feel at home. She was extremely inviting and made sure we had everything we needed. She definitely went above and beyond for breakfast the next morning, including making french-pressed coffee, a delicious tortilla espanola, yogurt with blueberries she had picked herself, and small peanut butter flax seed oat chocolate "energy bites." She had breakfast with us and was a delight to talk to. I'd highly recommend Beth to anyone!
Beth was a wonderful host and spared no effort to make us welcome. Although she was out for part of our evening there we had a lovely chat when she got home and got a great insight into life in a west Pennsylvania US township. Very comfortable bed - warm and cosy. Great value.
Beautiful room with a super comfortable bed in a lovely home, and best of all a wonderful host! Beth was warm and welcoming despite my unexpectedly late arrival on a work night, and she made sure I was well nourished before I hit the road in the morning. Only a brief one-night stay, but perfect for my first airbnb experience.
Beth is delightful, her home is warm and welcoming. Although this was my first airbnb experience, I immediately felt comfortable. I contacted Beth very last minute and found her to be gracious and accommodating throughout what turned into an extended stay. She knows the area well and can give great recommendations for where to go and what to do. Beth is a joy to spend time with and an excellent host, I strongly recommend stopping by if you're in Warren.
It's very happy experience hosting Brad, Beth and their family. The communications regarding time of check in went very well. The rooms were kept very clean. And I enjoyed talking to them even though it was quite brief. They are fun-loving, easy-going and respectful guests. Highly recommended!
I have truly liked and enjoyed every AirBnB guest I've had in my place. But this is the first time I've had a negative experience with one of them.
Brad and his wife don't seem to understand the AirbnB concept of sharing someone's private home. They woke me up each morning by talking loudly. They went into my linen storage area without asking and took out towels from there instead of using the towels I'd set out for them (not that I care that much, I don't have separate towels for me and my guests, but it seemed intrusive, disrespectful, and just weird). And they complained (here on AirBnB, not to me in person) about clutter, although 1) It's very mild and I mention it in my description, 2) They were neither staying in nor using that particular room - their bedroom and the bathrooms were clean and uncluttered, 3) They were paying less for my place than they'd pay for a hostel - it's not a 5-star hotel for gosh sakes, and 4) They could see me staying up into the wee hours every night trying desperately to finish doing my taxes - it takes a really not-nice person not to take some pity on someone in that situation and give them a break. But instead, they gave me only 1 star for cleanliness, thus lowering my overall average a lot and potentially negatively affecting my (much-needed) earnings here on AirBnB. I felt that that was mean-spirited and unfair.
Sadly, Brad is the only AirBnB (our Couchsurfing, for that matter, which I've also used as both host and guest) guest I've ever had that I would not enthusiastically welcome back.
