As the Executive Director of Sustainable Tahoe, my mission is to help visitors experience the inspiration of Tahoe's special brand of; sky, river, lake, forest, wildlife, mountains and clean fresh air to refresh your spirit.
I've hosted over 1600 guests from over 36 countries and almost every continent, since 2010. Being an international Airbnb host has reminded me as to how much we all have in common, accented by the value of our personal and cultural
I am forever grateful to live at Lake Tahoe and feel part of our local responsibility is to host this National Treasure in ways that enrich visitors connection to this precious water, while providing ways to reduce our carbon footprint.
Tahoe exports inspiration, but you have to import yourself here to feel it. The closer and deeper you touch and more powerful the magic. Hiking or kayaking to Hidden Beach, wildlife watching at Spooner Lake, exploring UC Davis science center, yoga class on a SUP Board at Sand Harbor, taking a bus to (almost) circle the lake, mountain biking the Flume Trail, hanging out at one of the east shores 'wild beaches', touring the Thunderbird or Bonanza museum, creek walks to the beach, summer art classes at SNC, sunsets at the lake, finding crystals in the water, weaving a basket, taking a bike on the bus to Tahoe City to bike along the Truckee River, hammock time in my backyard 'Earthgym", morning walks right up the hill for a wake-up lake view. These are just a few ways to fully feel the inspiration available on this world stage of water called Tahoe
