The house was very spacious and served our family perfectly. It was nice having all the space for the kids to play during our long stay. Laurel & Eric were very responsive to our phone calls & emails. We really enjoyed their lovely home.
The reservation was canceled 15 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We just wrapped up a wonderful stay in Laurel's home, in town for the inaugural Formula 1 Gran Prix at the new Circuit of the Americas. We were so happy to have such warm and peaceful accommodations, and thankful to have access to all the amenities of a home to make our stay more comfortable. The home is nicely appointed, very cozy, and clean, and it's close to the Mopac 1 freeway, Starbucks, and H-E-B Grocery store, where we visited regularly to purchase food and supplies. I especially appreciated the stack of fluffy hotel-style towels Laurel left for us and the ability to spread out in a much larger space than a hotel room would have allowed. Many thanks to Laurel for her enthusiasm to share her home, and to Air BnB for offering an alternative to cookie-cutter vacation accommodations.
Never felt so at home in a stranger's apartment. Laurel's flat was perfect for my two friends and I the four nights we had in Austin.
The condo was just fantastic, very cool with a great view of the creek. Laurel was a very, very kind host and was very flexible as far of when I needed to check in, etc. She even let me use her crate for my puppy, which was a huge help. I would recommend her place to anyone looking for a nice, quiet place off the beaten path to stay. A quick drive down Mopac (Loop 1) and you're downtown....I enjoyed the peace and quiet of being away from the crowds. Thanks again! :)
We had sold our home two weeks before we could leave the Austin area. At the last minute the place we had arranged to stay at fell through. We had only a few days to find a spot for 2 weeks with 2 dogs. Laurel rescued us. We so appreciated her generosity and great condo. Clean and chic - the view of Dry Creek gives you the feel of a tree house. Everything we needed was there - and the location was the greatest for rounding out all of our final Austin experiences before we moved out: Central Market, Deep Eddy, Baron Springs Pool, etc. are all within easy distance.
Laurel is great. Everything was in order and the pictures match reality. A quick zip in the car and you are downtown and having Austin fun.
Laurel's place was great, perfect for a couple. Quiet neighborhood easy access to major highways. Having a pool close by was nice for afternoon dips and leisure reading time. Great place for bringing a dog, lucy enjoyed the quiet streets for our morning walks. Laurel was super nice and easy going. She gave us some great ideas to get us going for our first time in Austin. Which by the way is an amazing city. Would definitely recommend this place for your home base while staying in Austin
I really enjoyed my stay. This is a cute little place that is close to downtown Austin but far enough away to be relaxing. The weather was fabulous and I got the chance to kayak at Zilker park and listen to the music at many of the venues downtown.
Laurel's apartment is wonderful! Excellent location, one minute off a major north/south expressway, and 15 minutes from downtown. Very comfortable place to stay, and the peaceful deck overlooking the trees and the creek is a great place to sit and enjoy a beverage. Laurel was very accomodating and help make for a great visit to Austin.
Laurel is a creative, warm, and fun-loving friend. These qualities are reflected in her fresh and colorful sense of style. She is also a grounded professional, so organization is evident in her home space as well. You will find her to be friendly and accommodating, making sure that you're needs are met while staying in her home. You will love the space, and you may make a friend in the process!
Laurel is great - professional and fun at the same time.
I definitely recommend people stay in her condo - it's in a nice area, very close to MoPac/Loop 1 (the freeway that will get you where you need to go) and right at the start of the famed Texas Hill Country.
