Robin was an excellent host with a beautiful, inspiring place. Robin was helpful, organized and a pleasure to deal with (he even toured me around via (website hidden) before my stay!) Thanks for an awesome stay and for being such a good host!
tres agreable .. un petit peu loin quand meme de l animation so l on n aime pas trop marcher ......
My friend and I stayed in Robin's loft during our first visit to Montreal and couldn't have been happier. Robin was very accommodating and his place is beautiful. The best part was the location - the neighborhood was really unique, cool and fun to spend time in. I would definitely recommend staying with Robin if you're spending time in Montreal.
Robin's loft is great. Spacious, well lit, quiet, and the location is great. We'll choose it again next time we go to Montreal.
Robin was out of the country at the time of the booking yet was very responsive and helped me secure a space on this last minute booking. The loft is beautiful especially if you are looking for a place to work out from for a couple of days. Having access to places like this is what I love Airbnb for.
Wow, this place is amazing! The pictures do not do the size of the place justice, it's huge. Robin was very friendly and helpful and even sent us a personal tour video. Leisa and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the stores and restaurants we wanted to visit to all be a very short drive away.
This was our first experience with AirBnB and after this weekend it certainly won't be our last!
This was my first time using airbnb and my first time visiting Montreal. Both experiences were fantastic.
Robin's loft truly is in the heart of Mile End, nearly equidistant between the two iconic bagel shops - St. Viiateur and Fairmount.
The space itself is great, lots of room, Rob's photo's on the walls, and great light in the morning from the giant front windows. He's also got professional grade espresso machine which was loaded and ready to go.
Rob was also very helpful in helping me get to know the neighborhood - tipping me off to the great Sparrow Bar on St. Laurent, about two blocks away, and Le Depanneur Cafe around the corner, where you can get a good latte, enjoy live music all day long, and just chill with a book.
We were lucky enough to be the first ones to stay here, and as soon as we saw the place, it was love at first sight. Spacious, open, stylish, organized... and with great internet access! We met Robin and hung out for a bit, and had a fun time sharing stories of art and culture in our cities. It felt like a serious privilege to be staying at this loft.
The location is hard to beat - in one of the hippest neighborhoods in Montreal, near lots of interesting little shops, restaurants, and bars. Our meetings were walking distance from the loft, so that was great, but when we felt like heading downtown or to the old port, it was a quick 15 minute cab ride, and about the same by metro.
It really is an open loft, so it's better for groups that don't mind a little less privacy than usual. The main bed is up on a tower-like room, though.
Overall, a great experience.
Robin et sa famille sont des gens très gentils et très respectueux. Ce serait un plaisir de les acceuillir a nouveau chez nous.
