I'm an architect working from home. I'm a lot at my computer and I also love working in the garden.

Very nice place. Quiet, clean and a nice breackfast every day.
It was a great hostel. The room that me and my friend stayed in was cozy and clean. Wanda was lovely as well as she keep providing guides to us for Oxford which helps a lot for visiting around!:)
Both Wanda and the room were lovely. The room was clean, cozy, and warm and Wanda was very generous and hospitable. She was also very helpful with suggestions and things to do around Oxford!
Thans, Beth. Hope to see you again!
Our stay with Wanda followed a recommendation by our niece. The adress was near to hers and she thought the room to be priceworth. And so I thought, when I researched other Oxford possibilities.
What came to it was some pleasant, direct and clear communication with Wanda about the availability of the room and some specifics from our side and Wanda's. Also nice that the payment procedure of Airbnb was clear.
The agreement with Wand about our arrival and stay and the room itself were completely as predicted and hoped for. A fine, clean and spacious room with arranged (and good) beds, where we could as home.
Kitchen, bathroom were ready for and pleasant in use. Breakfast was good and self-manageble.
Some nice conversation with Wanda and a few other guests made us feel at home and 'in Oxford'. Of course I should mention the nice, pleasant and quiet road (close to the heart of town).
All together we were/are very satisfied with Wanda's BnB!
Her accommodation is very English style. I recommend here.
I stayed with a colleague in Wanda's fantastic apartment. The apartment is really convenient and stylish and walking distance from Oxford University. Breakfast is included. Wanda was very easy to communicate with. I absolutely recommend staying here. When in Oxford again, this will be my choice of accommodation.
Thank you, Bram. Come again!
Wanda's room was lovely - clean, comfy and with everything you need. She also left a fantastic breakfast!
Nice of you, hope to meet you next time!
Wanda has a beautiful home near the university parks, overlooking some gardens. The room is comfortable and really light. It's a steep climb to the bed which is fine if you don't have any mobility issues (careful if you've had a glass of wine). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Thanks Wanda!
We had a fantastic weekend in Oxford. It was our first AirBnb and Wanda made us feel really comfortable from the start, it was a pleasure staying at hers. She gave us lots of useful information on Oxford. The room is nice with a lovely view, it is a quiet neighbourhood, only a 15 min walk away from the city centre. I also recommend going to North Parade, only a few minutes’ walk from the house, and you'll find some really typical pubs (the Rose and Crown) and quirky cafés.
Wanda was a wonderful host. The room was spotless and very well located. She had some very nice food and drinks in store for me to use which were life savers after long working days in Oxford. I definitely recommend her
Wanda was such a nice guest. Communication went well before and during her stay. We had som interesting conversations and we certainly recommend her as guest to other Airbnb host.
I was very pleased my 3 month stay in Wanda’s house. My double room was sunny (full of light with two windows), clean, very comfortable and large. The apartment is just short walk to the heart of Oxford and really close to the University Park. Wanda is friendly and accommodating. Wanda’s house will be my first port of call the next time I visit Oxford.
I lodged with Wanda for almost a year and had a marvellous time in my charming little room. The house is situated in a beautiful and historic part of Oxford, on a road lined by ancient Victorian brick-and-stone houses that are chock-full of character! The two bedrooms and the kitchen have a lovely view; they look out upon gardens that are lush and bursting with colour in the spring and summer. The house is situated very close to the city centre is and easily accessible by public transport; there is a bus stop two minutes away that connects you to all the parts of Oxford you would want to visit! The sprawling Univeristy parks and the river Cherwell are also just a couple of minutes away. My room had a wooden balcony with a cherry tree peeping in, perfect for early morning breakfasts and tea. The house is designed very cleverly; the original Victorian architecture has been preserved carefully while adding contemporary comforts. And it's always in great condition because Wanda takes such good care of it! The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped and Wanda is a generous and easygoing host. She has been in Oxford long, so she could easily direct tourists about what to do and places to see (and she makes a mean poppyseed cake that she is happy to share if you are lucky enough to be around when she bakes!)
And yes, it always made me feel very special to be living one street away from J.R.R Tolkein's old house...
