We, my husband and I, enjoyed the spacious and quiet apartment of Cecile. The whole space was very clean and restful. While she was not physically on hand to meet us, Cecile made sure that we got the complete set of keys, the codes to the TV box and wifi. She was always within email reach if I had a question. The apartment had all the necessary basics for dining, cooking, cleaning and sleeping. We preferred to use the sofa bed and found it as comfortable as a real bed. The building was quiet and near a deli that was open even on Sunday and a convenience store that was open till psst 10 pm. Benoit, the building manager was very helpful and even drove us to the train station when the taxis went on strike!
The apartment is about 5 minutes walk to the Blvd. La Croisette and 10-15 minutes to the top of Rue d'Antibes (where the shooing is), 20 minutes from Le Suquet (Old Cannes). If you enjoy walking, Cecile's apartment is a very, very good choice. We loved the residential neighborhood and appreciated its quiet and privacy.
Cécile was very helpful and available, very quick to respond and could solve all our problems and allowed us to arrange a time output (we had our flight in the evening). We always managed to communicate by phone and sms. The apartment is small but comfortable for a small family, the building is quiet and the surrounding is very safe, even to get out at night.
We enjoyed the location was fantastic, 300 meters from the Louvre, excellent access, close to good at affordable restaurants, pharmacies, etc. We can walk to Notre Damme (Quartier Latin is optimal for lunch) and Pompidou, very close to two metro stations, that let you do all the combinations of displacements in Paris. I recommend doing the walking tour along the Seine.
Are near of the malls of the Louvre "Caroussel" and the station "Les Halles", starbucks, mc's, boulageries and supermarkets, also a local optimal to have breakfast (Claus), just in front of the building.
Great choice for a first Airbnb's experience.
The location is excellent. The building is nice The house is clean, small but it fits for 4 persons. The kitchen is well equipped, but the wifi has a bad signal. Cecile was responsive and kept in touch with us throughout our vacation. I recommend this place!
쎄실의 집은 시내에서 매우 가깝습니다.
지하철 버스도 편리합니다.
This was my first Airbnb experience, as we jumped into a last minute plan to go to Paris. Cecile was quick to respond and patient, as we checked the possibility of getting onto the flights with our subject to load Airline ID tickets. She helped with directions and was easy to reach in case of any issue.
We spent 4 nights here (extended by one night - which Cecile happily accommodated us with), and were very happy with the location. We were able to walk to most sights, eat at the restaurants, bars and bakery closeby. There are two supermarkets in the vicinity. Note though - supermarkets close by 8 to 9 pm, so be sure to get there and stock up on essentials such as soap, tissues, or other supplies.
The apartment was as mentioned in the listing - and though we were a bit unsure initially - if you are looking for a place to stay in Paris, with good location, kitchen and washing facilities - this is the place for you. The neighbourhood was very nice and pretty quiet on weekdays. Over the weekend, there were some rather loud dinner parties in the courtyard - but we decided to head out to see Paris by the night.
While reading up on Airbnb, I did find several reviews stating water pressure issues in Paris - this is not the case with Cecile's place. The water pressure was good, though there was a bit of an issue with the shower drain, but a plunger helped unclog it. (Wish I had looked for it earlier though.)
Great place to stay at. Had a few issues connecting to the wifi and the TV was not working. However both of these did not spoil our trip. Cecile was very helpful in planning our trip and getting to her place. Small apartment, but a very nice place to stay at. Central area of Paris, close to the Louvre. Certainly a good place to (email hidden) facilities, washing, lift access. All you can ask for for a small trip to Paris where you spend most time outdoors!
The location is excellent and the host is very responsive. The place is understandably small. But it was fine for our small family of 4 (one toddler). We did not try to use the wifi, so can't comment on that. In an city like Paris, where you don't want to spend too much time in an apartment anyway, this place is perfect. I would certainly stay again next time we're in town.
Our staying at Cécile flat was nice, all was comfortable, clean and well organized. The host give us all the information to spend happy days. Some problems (then resolved) with the wifi connection, not very plain for who have to work with. But we can recommend it, for it is near to the centre, quiteness and lightfull. Thank you :)
Cecile was very welcoming and accommodating. She did her best to help us feel at home. She even brought me her own hairdryer to use during our stay! The location for the apartment is perfect and convenient to everything in Paris. I would, however, advise anyone who needs good access to internet to not stay here. The apartment does not have its own wifi network. Instead, Cecile gives you her password to the FreeWifi network. The connection works only about 50% of the time and is very spotty and slow.
