The apartment is really sweet, clean and comfortable in a quiet and lovely neighborhood. Meredith is accommodating and very pleasant to communicate with.
Meredith's apartment is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, with all the conveniences you could possibly want. The location is great, and street parking is plentiful. As a hostess, Meredith is fabulous. She's genuinely interested in making sure you have a wonderful stay, and it shows! She was very quick to respond to my inquiries and always responded with detailed answers. She was also flexible about check-in and check-out times, and that was very appreciated for my trip. I felt so at home at Meredith's place in Chicago that I almost didn't want to leave. ;)
my friend and i were coming to chicago for a baking conference at kendall college, and we were looking for a place that was convenient to the school. the hotels at the conference rate were all sold out, and this was my first time using airbnb. meredith's condo was above and beyond my expectations. it was super convenient from o'hare and even more convenient to the college. but the best parts were the central a/c (especially during the heat wave we encountered), luxury towels (can dry towels weigh 5lb??), coffee (keuring machine with many options: coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc.). meredith's home was boldly decorated, and it seemed like a real home rather than an impersonal hotel. the back porch and yard was a great place to have morning coffee. did i even mention the neighborhood?? we knew we'd be busy with classes and such, so we had purposely chosen a fun, hip neighboorhood where it'd just be a short walk to many great bars and restaurants. i'd highly recommend meredith's condo to everyone!
Meredith is a woman of exquisite a/v sensibility. She knows what she likes and perhaps more importantly, what she does not like, and why. Meredith's home, located in the chic heart of Chicago, has been host to a number of close friends, intriguing drifters and musical pilgrims eager for a prime spot in relation to the Second City's loaded cultural byways. Yet, in lieu of this hostel-like utility, Meredith's townhome preserves its clean modern appeal, all while maintaining a comforting sense of history, so important to this Chicago neighborhood. If you have style, then you also have a friend.
