We had a great time in this beautiful cozy apartment in West Asheville. Jane offered great suggestions for food and hikes. The Roku was a nice touch!
Jane was the perfect host. She left the light on for us since we were arriving late, and called the next day to check in and see if we needed anything. The house was a perfect size, and I loved the layout (kitchen/living area downstairs, sleeping area upstairs). The fresh cream in the fridge was such a nice touch. The location is fantastic - minutes to downtown Asheville. I would recommend the Simple Little Guest House to anyone!
This was my first experience with AirBNB and it went smoothly. Jane our host had a perfect description of the unit. She was great with staying in contact and let us know all the details we needed to get in and settled. Upon arrival the place was very quaint and homey. She had left suggestions for places to eat and other attractions. Coffee, fresh fruit and milk were left for us which was a nice touch. The unit was IMMACULATE, which I appreciated, and a perfect size for 2. It was in a quiet area of town but still accessible to everything we needed. Other nice touches were WiFi and Roku in the unit. This was a great first experience and I would definitely recommend this place to all who come to Asheville.
The guest house was as described, very welcoming, and cozy. Jane left us cookies, and check in with us peridocially to see if we needed any local info.
This sweet tucked away guest house was just as pictured. It was the perfect romantic spot for our valentines day weekend. We were treated to delicious scones and tips of west Asheville. We are already looking forward to a trip back to this relaxing sanctuary. Although we did not meet Jane, our host, in person due to us being in and out so much - she made us feel utterly at home and welcome. We recommend this home away from home to anyone!
Sweet review...thank you so much. It is always a delicate balance...I want to give you guidance to enjoy yourselves to the fullest, but I am not the purpose for your trip and am well aware of that.
I absolutely can't imagine a better Airbnb experience to have in Asheville than the one Jane is providing at her Simple Little Guest House. Nestled in a quiet, safe neighborhood near a lively area of shops and restaurants, the house was a beautifully decorated, private, bright, clean and comfortable bi-level apartment that we looked forward to coming back to each night of our stay - and look forward to coming back to in the future! Check-in, parking, and use of electronics (i.e., wi-fi and media) were simple and straightforward and we were immediately impressed and happy with the space upon arrival. Apart from the space itself, Jane's hospitality offered a perfect balance of warmth, informative conversation, availability in person and by phone, privacy, and thoughtfulness. She left delicious cookies and milk for us in the kitchen. She made sure the house was warm for our arrival on a cold rainy day. She provided a list of movie recommendations for the Netflix and Amazon Prime accounts available to guests. She conferred a wealth of information about things to do in Asheville and even offered to show us around town when our plans were disrupted by rain. These are only a few small examples of her obviously detailed effort and kindness that, without question, made our vacation far better than it would've been had we stayed elsewhere or with another host. I wholeheartedly recommend this option to anyone!
Great space in a nice area. Clean and cozy. Super comfortable bed!!! Jane was very freindly.
It was very nice staying in Jane's guesthouse! The space was clean and the pictures are accurate in showing the space. Jane went the extra mile to welcome us with delicious cookies.
Great experience. After an initial miscommunication, Jane promptly corrected it, and we settle in nicely. The house is in a great West Asheville location, and we were very comfortable the entire time. Parking was easy, and getting to and from downtown was also a quick drive. West Asheville shops and restaurants are walkable/a literal 1 minute drive away. Nice and clean, and we comfortable bed. Recommend this listing.
The "Simple Little Guest House" was absolutely perfect for our week-long holiday visit to Asheville. Jane's warmth, knowledgeable suggestions and special touches (fresh cream in the fridge, cookies, fruit, coffee and teas) really made it feel like home. The location was absolutely perfect for us -- a 1-minute drive (or an easily navigable ~20-minute walk) to all the happenings of West Asheville. Also very accessible to the interstate for journeys downtown or to the Biltmore or Blue Ridge Parkway. The adorable, stylish little house itself was more than we dreamed of -- plenty of space for two guests, very private and incredibly outfitted with all the comforts of home (so nice to have a kitchen when you're away!). We typically stay at our friends' houses or a hotel when we visit, but won't anymore. We will be ABSOLUTELY staying at Jane's guest house next time we return -- Jane and her Guest House made for a delightful experience.
Sweet...can hardly wait for you to come back.
