I love where I live, it's a reflection of who I am - love to be active either running, riding bikes on the beach, hiking in Topanga Canyon or Malibu. Santa Monica has a very healthy lifestyle and am lucky to live in a neighborhood where I rarely have to use my car - so many things within walking or biking distance - definitely an environmentally friendly city. I'm a "glass half full" type of person and having grown up between Peru and the US, I was born with the traveling bug and have lived in several cities/areas including Lima, Northern California, Colorado, San Diego, Madrid, and of course, Los Angeles. I love traveling and the people you meet along the way. I'm bilingual and bicultural and truly grateful for that, as I've been able to do so much and meet so many great people since I speak both English and Spanish. I do speak a little French, but not enough and it's my dream to be fluent in French one day! My day job is I'm a Creative Director and am deep in the interactive/artistic/technical realm - I really love what I do and diving into anything that's creative and/or intellectual.

I truly believe in "paying it forward", being respectful to people and kind and helpful whenever you can and not expecting anything in return. You always get rewarded eventually whether it's personally or by giving someone else the opportunity and the incentive to do the same.

When I was a starving student traveling in Europe in my 20's with 4 of my girlfriends, an older couple that we met one evening at a restaurant that was so extremely nice, bought us all dinner and told us to enjoy, and to just do the same for someone else one day... I'll never forget that! And it's on the agenda, for my next big trip :-)
