My wife says: The host, Jacqueline, was welcoming. Our stay was relaxing. The cabin is cozy and rustic in a quiet, low traffic neighborhood. There is a nice water view from the cabin and only a few steps to the beach with a coastline sufficient for a nice walk. The kitchen is cozy with a 2 burner stove and small oven. There are sufficient pots, pans, utensils to cook basic meals and enough cups, plates, etc.
Note: the plumbing and septic system require gentle handling and efficient usage. We would stay here again.
I say: It is a nice small cabin, in a quiet part of the island. Large windows to see the water. Beach to walk, sit. Well utilized space.
Jacqueline was a great host and checked in with us to make sure we were having a comfortable stay. Then cabin was bright and cozy. We had a wonderful time waking up and walking to the beach with our coffees!
This was a great secluded spot to stay, the beach is beautiful and the tiny house was everything we could have wanted. It was perfect for making fires and playing games along with taking relaxing walks. There is a state park very close and it was a ton of fun to explore the trails on a day hike. Jacqueline is a generous and witty host who made everything very comfortable for us. We had a great time!
Jacqueline is a kind, generous, responsive host! She welcomed us in with firewood & flowers, & gave us a great orientation to the cabin. We loved our time in the tiny beach house-- it was plenty of space for two and had everything we needed to cook meals, sleep soundly & be completely comfortable. Thank you so much, Jacqueline!
The tiny cabin is a great deal for everything we needed! We loved the beach access, the kitchen, the wood stove, and the bed was super comfortable. Jackie was a great host.
Wonderful cabin in a quiet neighborhood. Great for relaxing and unwinding. On the small side, but perfect for warming up by the fire.
I had a wonderful stay at the beachfront tiny house. Jacqueline was gracious and welcoming; we arrived a little on the later side and she had a fire started for us. She walked us through all the particulars of the tiny house and we felt totally at ease.
I would recommend the tiny house for anyone interested in a quiet and relaxing Orcas Island experience.
Jacqueline is an all-around amazing host. I can't wait to come back!
What a great spot! We had a very nice time with Jacqueline--she was very welcoming, stopping by to chat and make sure that everything was shipshape before leaving us to enjoy the quiet and seclusion of the cabin. The house is a cozy studio with a woodstove and all of the amenities you might need; it's got a great location on a small gravel road at the very tip of the island and shares a beautiful quiet beach with a few other houses. Jacqueline was the consummate host, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her place to anyone!
Jacqueline was a gracious host and good communicator. We very much enjoyed our stay. The cabin was freshly painted and there was a fire going for us when we arrived. Jacqueline even gave us some fresh eggs to complete our breakfast. Excellent value.
What a lovely spot! We had such a relaxing and fulfilling weekend spent on the island and felt right at home in the cottage. Jacqueline was very thorough, kind, and accommodating and made us feel right at home. We are already planning our next visit! Thank you so much, Jacqueline.
