We're the Steves living in Coupeville. Steven and Steve. Recently married couple who decided to forgo the city life of Seattle for country-island life.
We had a lovely time in Coupeville. The "Steves" (and Nea) are great hosts and provided everything we needed. They even left us a special treat since we were celebrating our anniversary. The house is beautiful and in a perfect location--within walking distance of Coupeville. It was a great first Airbnb experience.
I contacted Steven on very short notice- the morning of our hopeful stay on Whidbey Island. I had my parents visiting and wanted to explore with them beyond Seattle, but camping was out of the question due to weather. Steven responded to me within minutes of sending in my request to him, and very graciously allowed us to spend the night in his beautiful home. I unfortunately never got to meet Steven except through phone calls- he and Steve were in Seattle for the weekend and so we had the house to ourselves. Overall, it was a great experience- beautiful house, friendly cat, and very responsive and kind owners.
We had a great time in Coupeville and really enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous house! It was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. Their cat, Nea, was a great hostess! Would definitely recommend to friends.
We stayed one night in Coupeville to visit friends for Thanksgiving. House was very nice and close to town. We had everything we needed. Our first AIRBNB experience and it was very good. We would stay there again. It would be nice to stay there in the summer. They have several nice porches and a garden.
The "Steve's" house in Coupeville is charming. From the 1890s but with all the modern conveniences. They have a wonderful cat, a large garden, and a beautiful yard. The Steve's were very gracious hosts and we really enjoyed our brief time with them. Coupeville is a very interesting town with a lot to see and do. We would love to return some day for another visit.
This was our first Airbnb experience and it was great. We stayed only one night, but wished we could have stayed a couple more. Steven and Steve (and Nea the cat) were great hosts.
The house was beautiful, comfortable and had great amenities. The next time we're in Coupeville, we'll have to stay again.
Wow. We had a fantastic time with "the Steves". The house is gorgeous and brilliantly decorated, the rooms and beds are very comfortable, and the cat is friendly. Did I mention the Steves are friendly and helpful too?
It's a quick walk to any of the waterside eateries, which range in price but are all tasty.
It's amazing how easy it is to feel removed from the "city" after a short ferry ride and 20 mile drive.
The Steve's made our first Airbnb experience a good one. The house is charming, clean and comfortable. The Steve's are friendly and welcoming but were respectful of our privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Steve and Steven were so wonderful! We stayed only two nights, but couldn't have asked for more gracious hosts. The house itself is incredibly stunning -- beautifully decor and architecture. The rooms were comfortable and clean, as was the washroom. The cat is the sweetest (even though I called her Mia the whole time)! But the icing on the cake was when they left fresh homemade cookies in our room when we got back for the night! Only regret was not being able to hang out more with Steve and Steven. Thanks so much again for having us -- hopefully we'll make it back!
The Steves are gracious hosts! My time in the home was brief but made SO very comfortable with fantastic amenities. Gorgeous home in an idyllic setting. If I'm ever in the area again, I will stay here without hesitation!
Steven stayed with family in one of our cabins and was a really easy going guest. Uncomplicated, polite, friendly, clean and we had a nice chat - guests like him are always very welcome at our place.
