Great stay at Ben's! The room is cozy and comfortable and complete with bathroom and kitchenette. Also, the neighborhood is fantastic with a lot of cute restaurants and pubs - not quite in downtown, but close enough to the main sites. We were greeted by Ben's flatmate when we arrived and had no problem connecting with Ben when needed over the phone and email.
I can't recommend this place highly enough. We spent the weekend here and were so impressed with the location - so close to St Stephen's Green, which is a gorgeous area and very safe, plus very convenient for getting the coach from and to the airport (taxis from here into town are also really reasonable). The room itself is set in the basement of the house, and I actually thought it was even more spacious than the pictures suggest - also really warm in spite of it being winter. We didn't really see anyone other than when we first got there, but that worked just fine for us - it really felt like we had a space just for us, much better and more personal than a hotel. Thanks so much to Ben and Sally - we will be back, and recommending you to our friends!
A cosy, warm and comfortable room that was a pleasure to arrive back to each day. Ben's lovely mum welcomed me and showed me around. It is close to the heart of the city but still quiet at night which was appreciated after a long day! I was in the city for work so it was great having the desk in the room plus Netflix for some winding down at night. I would thoroughly recommend this room and the delicious food from The Farm restaurant just across the road. I will definitely be staying again should work send me in that direction in the future. Thoroughly recommend. Thank you Ben.
We were deeplyy happy to stay in Ben's private floor. The room is quite spacious for a couple. The bed is (amazingly) comfy and the place is located nearby every lovely places in Dublin. I would definitely reccomand Ben's private flat to everyone else.
The house was lovely, and in a really lovely neighbourhood. The local restaurant Farm is fab!! And we truly were able to walk everywhere!! The woman who met us was very friendly - and kind for waiting up until late since our flight was delayed! Everything was as advertised - but as others have said the shower is pretty much impossible if you're over 6ft (like my husband). But more our fault for not reading the reviews throughly enough! Also, the toilet pump is quite jarring at first, but you get used to it! The bed is comfy and you truly have the basement to yourself. The snacks were a lovely added touch.
Nice place. All facilities are there!
The room is perfectly sized for two people: a comfortable bed, a kitchen with all of the essentials, a nice shower and plenty of outlets. The house is centrally located to the point that we were able to walk everywhere during our stay. A cafe, a few restaurants and a small grocery store are all just a short walk up the road, and the rest of the city center sights are only a bit farther. The basement floor is truly yours; Sally greeted us warmly and provided us a map when we arrived, but otherwise we were left to ourselves. It was a very pleasant stay!
That was our first airbnb experience and we couldn't have been more pleased and we felt totally comfortable in Ben and Sally's place. The room was exactly the same as the picture and the atmosphere was warm and charming. We were ver close to the center so we enjoyed the city by walk mostly. Sally was very nice too and Ben helpful when I had problems finding the right address. Very good experience.
Sally & Ben are uncomplicated, friendly hosts. The bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom have everything you need during your stay. A big plus is definitely the location - only a 10 min walk to Camden Street (restaurants/pubs). I recommend Ben's place to anyone visiting this lovely city.
I cannot say enough good things about Ben's space. All email communication was quick and friendly. Sally greeted me when I arrived. She could not have been any warmer or friendly. The apartment was cozy. The bed comfortable. The location great. There is an amazing restaurant, The Farm, just across the road. I was able to walk downtown rain or shine or grab a lift via Uber. If I'm ever in Dublin again I'd absolute stay in Ben's studio given the opportunity.
I have lived together with Ben and he is such a great flatmate. Easy going, clean, friendly and nice character. A pity that he moved to Dublin...
I have known Ben for a few years, I was introduced to him through his brother when I lived in Dublin. However I moved to London last year and so needed somewhere to stay in December when I was home.
It worked out perfect! The house is so central. I landed in the airport, got on the aircoach, and in just under 45 mins the aircoach left me across the road from the house. When I arrived I met Ben, who showed me around and introduced me to his dog Jasper, who is so cute.
The room was really lovely. Clean, comfortable and lovely and cosy. I came and went as I pleased, and there was just a great atmosphere in the house.
As a Dubliner, I could not recommend the room enough. Great location, and a great place to just chill out in. Grafton street is minutes away on foot and so I never got a taxi once during my stay.
Ben is very welcoming and helpful and made sure I had everything I needed. If you are in Dublin and need somewhere central this is the place!
