I'm a nearly lifelong St. Louis resident, raised on a farm in south Missouri, and have been a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Premier Group for the past good long time. I'm a grandmother and even a great grandmother, and an unrepentent devotee, collector and resuscitator of historic houses.

The beautiful house I live in, and where you would stay, was built around the time of the 1904 World's Fair, and has much of its delicate original detail intact, which is amazing because it was broken up into eleven extremely dingy and forsaken efficiency apartments when I got it 18 years ago... not a pretty situation at all, but that is all gone now.

So, yes! my main interest is historic houses and bringing them back to life (and of course connecting sellers and buyers for these great buildings.) I just love them, and have myself bought, restored and sold more than I probably remember. I love entertaining and hosting people at my home, and nearly every night I'll cook dinner, often grilling something, and love to invite friends over for a meal. Guests at the house are of course welcome to enjoy dinner as well. Guests are equally encouraged to use the kitchen themselves. I have a wonderful collection of cookbooks, and the tools to make most anything, and the best grocery in town, the famous Straubs, is less than a half mile away.

For a long time, way in the way back, I worked in the music/entertainment business, and went out to listen to live music nearly every night. St. Louis is a great city for such things, and I got to work with and meet many of the great acts that traveled through the midwest. I still love music, but am not much for keeping late hours anymore ;) A little Joe Cocker on the stereo, maybe a little Mills Brothers, food on the table, a martini nearby... It is a nice place to be. It would be great to have you visit.

I think my home would be especially nice for people visiting the city to see the great sights, the museums and other cultural adventures, who would like to know that at the end of a long day of sight seeing, a delicious meal and an elegant, very St. Louis environment awaits. Settle in and rest up for another day of enjoying the city.

I am devoted to my morning coffee, so guests can count on that. Other than coffee, please let me know what you like to have on hand in the morning, and I can have it at the ready.
