We were very happy with our stay with Jeremy. The apartment is centrally located and near my favorite restaurant in Evanston. He is an attentive host and easy to communicate with.
The location was perfect -- quiet neighborhood, close to the train, several reasonable restaurants, and not far from the grocery (Jewel and Whole Foods). There was a computer with internet access and a television. (Jeremy even let us borrow his Xbox with Guitar Hero, on which my six-year-old showed surprising prowess.) Jeremy was very helpful -- especially when we inadvertently locked ourselves out of the apartment. The apartment is quite cold in the mornings, so if you are staying in the winter do bring slippers and a robe or sweater or something to throw on when you arise. Also, it's an older apartment, so expect hissing, clanking radiators and creaky floors (these made me feel right at home, as I grew up in a similar apartment a few blocks away, but made my child uncomfortable.) We did have to remember that we were staying in someone's apartment -- a place lived in -- and not a hotel room, but with this taken into account the experience was very good and we be pleased to stay here again.
I had a wonderful time staying in Jeremy's apartment and recommend it wholeheartedly. Thanks for your wonderful hospitality.
Jeremy was a great host! He had the apartment ready for us when we arrived, and it was in great shape. The area was very quiet, and only a block away from the Metra and a CTA stop. Although we weren't there much (we were downtown during the days) it was a great place to sleep, and if we had desired, it would have been a great place to hang out. I highly recommend this place!
Jeremy was an excellent guest ! He was in touch the whole time and left the place nice and tidy. Hope to see him again.
