The lovely slow-paced way of living feel is what I like of Chiang Mai and I believe with sharing, my dear guests, you will love it.

It was a delightful escape to the Riverside Villa hosted by Tammy. The rooms and surroundings are as beautiful as you see in the photos - I would even say better in real life. It was good to connect with nature and this villa by the Ping River is one of the best ways to do it.
Tammy is a very helpful and considerate host. She personally prepared breakfast for us every morning and it was healthy and wholesome at the same time. She was full of information about where to go and what to see.
Do not hesitate to stay here - it may look far on the map, but if you have your own set of wheels it is only twenty minutes from the walled city and far more peaceful and safe. I certainly would stay here again.
The Riverside Villa is an exquisite property and was just what we were looking for. Ours was a family holiday, where we wanted some quiet time, a relaxing ambience and someone to fuss over us. And Tammy over-delivered on each of them. She has to be the sweetest host ever, who looks out for each and every thing you may have on your mind. From helping plan the itinerary, arranging cars and even giving us a tour around the famous Saturday night market, she looked after our every need. The property isn't really that far from town, especially if you're looking to escape the hustle bustle of the city. Small village markets are just a cycle ride away, you can stock up on supplies at the Tesco or 7/11 or enjoy quiet meals in hidden cafes and restaurants. If you're looking to buy stuff for your house, Ban Tawai (an awesome and very cheap whole home-ware market) is just a 15 minute ride by pick-up.
All the villas are well appointed, free wifi, a delish pool, a well-equipped kitchen and a very gracious host, Tammy's villa is where you want to escape to when the city gets to you.
Tammy is a nice host. We were having great 2 days in her house. Once we arrived at her place. Passions and surprise infused my mind. It's like that I have never imagined or felt. Typical Thai style with a little Chinese characters made you feel like living in dream. 还有对于中国大陆的sat考生来说，清迈考场是不错的选择，安静，愉快，没有香港新加坡那么严格，当然tammy的房间也是必须选择的
Tammy's villa is fantastic! It is situated about 20 minutes south of Chiang Mai's old city by car but don't let that deter you from staying here. Tammy is extremely accommodating and can help you find transportation into the city and has many recommendations for fun activities in the area.
The villa itself is spectacular - it is situated right on the river and has a nice view with very pretty grounds and swimming pool. The rooms are spacious, unique and nicely decorated.
I found this place was a nice break from the noise and bustle of Chiang Mai but was close enough to allow you easy access to all the fun parts of the city.
For what it's worth, we stayed over Songkran weekend and even then traffic wasn't a major issue in getting into the city
Riverside is really a very special place....an oasis of serenity, beautiful to return to after busy days of adventure. The villas are immaculately clean, very spacious, lovely gardens and a delicious breakfast prepared daily by Tammy - who is truly so helpful, nothing is ever too much trouble.
You will definitely need transport as this residence is a good 20 minutes out of the heart of Chiang Mai - we hired a motor scooter for the week, which was perfect for us as a couple and we enjoyed the contrast of quiet village after busy Chiang Mai, but this situation may not be ideal for everyone.
The main house has an awesome stereo system and all modern conveniences - as a teacher of meditation, I absolutely loved the pagoda by the river; big comfy cushions for the enjoyment of sunrise and sunset meditation/contemplation and my partner loved this space for a quiet drink at the end of the day...very special.
