Lauryn was a wonderful host and very welcoming. This is the part of airbnb we love....meeting great people like Lauryn. The house was oceanfront with amazing views. The bedroom was comfortable and we slept to the sound of crashing waves. In the middle of the night we peaked out the window and the full moon lit up the ocean. Lauryn suggested we take a short walk along the ocean to a nearby restaurant and it was perfect. We sat on the deck with fire pit and blankets. What a memorable evening!
Lauryn was a great host! She didnt mind my late arrival & she gave great recommendations for dinner, touring, and exploring Half Moon Bay. I was really inspired by her work, also. It touched me to see such a empowered woman focusing on and making progress toward positive social change. It was a pleasure getting to meet her and there is really nothing like listening to surf as you fall asleep at night :)
We felt like part of the family when we stayed with Lauryn. We ended up spending more time walking and driving around and not enough time on the deck, but we did get a chance to talk a little bit with Lauryn and she was very friendly and welcoming. The muffins and fruit for breakfast were great and we really liked the neighborhood.
We had a wonderful time at Lauren's! She greeted us with a drink overlooking the sea on her front patio, and we walked down the oceanside path to enjoy a great dinner at the Distillery. The room and bathroom were great, and we loved the breakfast of delicious muffins overlooking the sea. We highly recommend a stay with Lauren!
What a great host with a great location. Lauryn is an engaging host with loads of local and regional knowledge. We chose her place mostly for its location, close to all of the places and people we wanted to visit on the coast and in the SF Bay area. Little did we know we would also meet the world's cutest dog, have front door access to cliff walking trails and gorgeous sunsets. Top it off with engaging conversation over a light breakfast or evening living room chat and it all worked out as a three night stay that we would recommend for anyone who wants some relaxing coastal down time and the great restaurants, shops and outdoor activities of the area.
Third time at Lauryn's house and it's always great. Lauryn is very nice and make you feel home right away. Getting to sleep and waking up with the sound of the waves rolling is priceless! I can see them from the window of the room and when I get out. There is also that small beach very close to her place that is just fantastic. Nobody is ever there and you can relax and enjoy the sea.
The house is beautiful with a beautiful view. Lauryn made us feel right at home. She was very hospitable and at the same time she also gave us our space. By the way, this place has the best view of the sunset. I highly recommend you staying at this amazing location.
Lauryn made me feel right at home from the get go. It was my first time trying airbnb and I really liked the experience. From now on, I will be using airbnb exclusively and will definitely return to Lauryn's house. Thank you for the great stay!
Our stay with Lauryn was just great! Lauryn was a wonderful host and had thought of everything, including great directions, restaurant info, nearby walks, and more. The ocean views from the house are beyond description and the sound of the surf lulls you to sleep. If we're ever in the area again we would love to stay with Lauryn.
Lauryn was quick to respond and welcoming, and excellent hostess! Her place is quiet and beautiful, just on the water and near walking paths. I recommend it!
