My name is Alexander, I am 57, live and work in Moscow, have dual citizenship (British and Russian), and I enjoy traveling, especially with my wife Galina. We usually avoid repetition and do not go to the same destinations for the second time. New York is one of very few exceptions, it is a place where you can find whatever you want . It is in NY where I found my school friend whom I haven't seen since 1971! We love NY and were really enchanted with SoHo and the Village - and decided to stay next time there. I like music, especially interested in guitar based - blues, jazz, rock, whatever is cool. I like both live music and listening to recordings on hi-end sound system. When I find myself in a good music shop I sometimes lose the sense of time trying to find something worthy on CD's or live concert DVD's. At home I do some strumming on electric guitar (more loud at my country house basement). I like to read and to listen to people who do have something to say. (As a rule, I open my mouth when I know what I am talking about, and when I'm sure that my words can add value). I like to travel and meet new people. I pay credit for good food and wine, this is the best way to get to know new countries, places and cultures. So please don't get scared with "those Russians coming" :-) We are nice people and we also have a few good things to share with you (not only vodka with Beatles singalong :-)) I have some international background (lived abroad and speak some Italian and Greek in addition to my Russian and English). My previous job was communications vice-president withTetra Pak Russia (a Swedish liquid food packaging company, the largest in the world). Now I am paying more attention to my life balance, and I downshifted a bit working as director for Willard Group (a PR agency owned by an american Mike Willard). I have two sons and an unassailable dream of becoming grandfather.
