I work part time and am also self employed as a Holistic Health Coach and Yoga Instructor. My home is clean and comfortable as well as environmentally friendly.
I look forward to hosting you and helping you have en enjoyable visit to New Orleans.
Hey, i stayed with suzanne for 4 weeks. The place was very cozy and comfortable. The neighborhood was very friendly. Suzanne was very helpful, she picked me up to her place and suggested to help with grocery. Her dog was very friendly and quite, never bothered me. I definitely recommend the place to anyone visiting. Its very close to ochsner to where i was working.
I went to NOLA for Mardi gras and stayed in Suzana's house. It was a great time. She is friendly and nice person. Her house is cute and clean. I really recommend her place.
I had a great stay at Suzanne's place. I was in New Orleans for the Voodoo Festival and Suzanne provided great hospitality and conversation! Thank you!
Suzanne's home was lovely, beautiful style home, the room is large and has all the comforts you could ask for. The Location isn't far from town.
Suzanne is lovely person also and I wold highly recommend her as a host or guest.
My stay was Suzanne was great. She is a friendly host and Sadie (the dog) is great as well. A very nice home with everything I needed for my stay.
We stayed with Suzanne for a week while we were working in New Orleans. The house is really cute and clean and in an extremely quiet area. Within a few blocks you will find several really nice restaurants. Sadie the dog is totally adorable and so sweet and made us feel at home :)
We stayed with Suzanne for a month partly during Mardi Gras. Suzanne was friendly and helpful. The room was quiet at night, comfortable and we had good access to all facilities. The whole place was always clean and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking.
If you are self catering, there are two large supermarkets a short distance away, though you will probably want to use the bus, especially for Robert's. If you use the Wynn Dixie, do get their discount card, even just for one shop - you can easily save 20% on your bill.
Buses are not the most convenient from here as you are outside of the main RTA network for the city. There is a local bus service but it is infrequent and the last one from the junction with the city bus is about 9pm. A late taxi from the French Quarter would be about $20.
Suzanne has fast and reliable wifi, which was important to us for photo uploads.
The dog, Sadie, is big and friendly but would be no bother if you are not a dog lover.
We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend Suzanne's place.
Suzanne was a very easy going and accommodating host. The room was comfortable for us and the house was very clean. There's not a lot within walking distance in the neighborhood, but we were able to find a few options for food. Suzanne's dog was very mellow and sweet. We also appreciated Suzanne's offer to pick us up from the airport and drop us off at the cruise terminal.
I, the husband of Ana, stayed for 3 nights at Suzannes place. It´s a lovely house (I loved the interior and design of the rooms), with a happy dog (Sadie) and an even more friendly Suzanne. I enjoyed every moment of my stay at her place and in New Orleans! She lives in Jefferson district so a bit outside but it´s not such a big deal to reach the city center (use the E3 bus and then the cable car). Also thanks a lot for the drop at the airport, if you come there try to arrange with Suzanne if she can pick you up or drop you at the airport - I had a very confusing taxi ride from the airport and was more than happy that Suzanne was able drive me to the airport (for a smaller few than any taxi would charge) Can totally recommend Suzanne, Sadie and the lovely house! Best wishes to Suzanne and Sadie :)
Beautiful house in a quiet area of Jefferson, the next "parish" (suburb) over from New Orleans.
Suzanne is a lovely person, very warm, welcoming and friendly. She picked us up from the airport (for a small fee) which was very much appreciated!
The room had a nice homely feel, spacious enough, with a little bit of storage and a table and chairs. We were also welcome to use the kitchen, which was super clean and cosy.
The bathroom was large and spotless also.
Suzanne had a lovely dog Sadie, who we became fast friends with! Such a lovely temperament.
Loved our stay here! The only downfall was the public transport - there is one bus that only comes every 30-60 mins near the house which we found was a little sketchy. We ended up walking along the river (a pleasant 20-30 minute stroll) to get the streetcar each day. The streetcars come fairly often, but are also quite slow, to get downtown is quite a process. Would be easily accessible with a car though, or even a bicycle.
Would definitely recommend the room though, was perfect for our 5 day stay. There is some bars close by, and a convenience store also. Oak Street, which is great for coffee, lunch and browsing, is only 30 minute walk away.
Thanks Suzanne :)
Suzanne was an excellent "house guest". Extremely neat and a pleasure to host.
