House was clean and welcoming with flowers and wine. Gulfport is an excellent location for Gulf fishing and splendid beaches. I would highly recommend a stay. Neighbors are friendly and welcoming too!
This home was everything we expected & more! When we arrived we were welcomed by a bottle of wine & fresh roses on the table.Every bedroom as welcoming with sunshine streaming in & fresh towels arranged on the beds. The pictures of the home are wonderful, but the view is even better! The neighborhood was quiet. Only a short (less than a mile) walk to fun restaurants & shops. 15-20 minutes to downtown St. Pete for more nightlife & fun. Lorrie was wonderful to work with. We were able to relax & focus on our daughter's "wedding week!" We would definitely return in the future!
What an amazing Winter getaway! Immediately upon entering Lorrie's beautiful home, our eyes were drawn to the calming Bay waters that lay before us! The amenities were plentiful and the atmosphere was just what our family of weary travelers needed. Lorrie even left us a bottle of wine to enjoy!!
We walked the neighborhood every morning and enjoyed the downtown life as well. We are already planning our return trip for this time next year! A most desirable vacation in every way.
Thank you for the kind words, Liz! We are so happy that you enjoyed staying at our beautiful home and that your family took advantage of all the wonderful things Gulfport has to offer! We hope you'll stay with us again if you return to the area!
We had a wonderful stay at Lorrie's beautiful home on the Bay in Gulfport. We were greeted by Eileen, Lorrie's neighbor, at our arrival. Eileen was very kind and informative. The home was extremely clean! The home is beautifully appointed with mid-century modern furniture. The kitchen was well equipped from appliances to cookware and dishware. There were a variety of drinks in the fridge, coffee, & teas too. The main living area opens up completely onto the screened pool area. And it is a beautiful view. We even saw dolphins feeding in the morning! It is a quick drive or walk to the historic downtown, which is very quaint. We were there on a Tuesday and they have lots of vendors in the street selling artwork and food. That was fun! I would highly recommend Lorrie's home to others.
