Greetings friends and thank you for considering a stay at our lakeside home in Klamath Falls, Oregon. We have lived on the lake since a corporate relocation brought us to the area in early 2002. We're now empty nesters and have this large house on this amazing lake. We feel it's too special to keep to ourselves which is why we are now inviting guests to stay at our home.

We like to travel ourselves and have been to many countries over the years. Most recently, in January 2014, we went on a cruise to the Caribbean.

We enjoy bird watching on the lake. We enjoy hikes in the area - and there are many of them for all levels of adventure. Bike riding is good here (road and mountain). And, there is a large park nearby where there are miles of hiking, tennis courts, disc golf, and more. We live across the street from the Harbor Links golf course. For the more avid golfer, Oregon's only Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course is about 10 minutes drive (there's also a nice spa there).

Being on the main lake is nice if you like boating and/or fishing. Spring is the best time and you're able to fish right from the back yard of our home. Catching an 8 pound trout is not unusual. During the summers, there are sailboat races every Wednesday and these are clearly visible from our back yard (Hint: if you are here we are often lakeside with a nice bottle of wine and cheeses).

The weather is generally nice in Southern Oregon and Klamath Falls, so being outside as much as possible is a goal of ours.

If you stay here, you'll have the upstairs to yourself because we don't go up there or use that portion of the house. There are two bedrooms and one full bathroom. You would be renting just one room (the other would also be available so there's a shared bath). The majority of time we don't have more than a single room rented, but, during peak summer season we do. There is separate heat and air conditioning. There is wireless internet, a common sitting area with a desk, and an area for lounging around. There is a fridge, microwave, and coffee makers. Each room has queen sized beds and each room has tall vaulted ceilings. There is plenty of closet space. Both rooms are plushly carpeted.

As you can tell from the photos, the home is very nice. We don't smoke and the home is very clean. We do have two very small schnoodle dogs (Will & Grace). Both are hypo-allergenic (e.g. they don't shed, smell, or agitate allergies) and they stay mostly in the shop and enclosed dog-run area on the side of the home.

We have lots of parking, a washer/dryer if you need it, and if you have special needs please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate your situation.

Regarding pricing, we price the room overlooking the lake a little higher than the other room (the view). AirB&B takes a fee from both of us: they increase our fee to you for payment processing (while also deducting from our fee) so your actual/final cost is likely to be about $7-15 +/- dollars higher per day than what's posted. Some AirBnB Hosts charge extra for things like cleaning, breakfast, etc.... - We don't add any additional fees to our rate.

We look forward to hosting you.
