I am a professor of the history of art from Kingston, Canada. I specialize in Venetian Renaissance art, and spend two months of every year in Italy. My love for travel is one of the things that drew me to my profession. I take great pleasure in doing my research before embarking on a new adventure, finding comfortable places to stay, the best sites to see, the coolest places to eat. I love learning about different cultures, meeting new people, taking in art and architecture, and especially sampling local cuisine. I love to cook myself, and I am an avid yogi. Music is a huge part of my life, and my taste is extremely varied -- I love classical music, opera, rock, rap, acoustic guitar music and enjoy finding unique covers of classics.
I hold the fundamental belief that the universe returns to you the energy you share. I aim to live a purpose-driven life, as authentically as possible, but am always open to personal growth and learning from my mistakes and from others. I love my family and we often travel together.
I will be a warm, respectful and conscientious guest, and will aim to leave your property just as I found it.
