What else can we say about Judith and her wonderful home that hasn't been said? Everything said by the other guests is right. Judith is very kind, helpful, and generous. The apt. is a home in a great neighborhood, accessible to a great bi-weekly market, the RER and Metro, a skip to the Eiffel Tower and the Seine. The building is clean, well kept, and the neighbors very nice. I was impressed by the pull out sofa, very comfortable, and the Wi-Fi(fast and dependable).
The apt. doesn't face the Eiffel Tower, but at night, on the hour, the lights twinkle and you can see the reflection across the street on the neighbors windows! The metro stop Bir-Hakeim on line 6 is 2 blocks from the apt.. in my opinion closer than the Desaix stop. There's also the RER trains that take you to the Airport and other sites without changing lines in the Metro. If you have never visit Paris, do yourself a favor and (website hidden)-Earth and "walk" the neighborhood, we learned a lot.
You will not be disappointed renting Judith's home; we missed it, along with Paris's great food, the moment we closed the door behind us. Thank you Judith for lending us your home.
We're so happy we chose to stay at Judith's lovely apartment! Our visit to Paris was perfect, and this charming "home away from home" was part of the perfection. It's bright and comfortable, with gorgeous views all around, and it's ideally located on a quiet street near metro and RER stations.
Judith is a helpful and generous host. She met us at the apartment to orient us and show us how to use some of the features. She also left fresh breads and fruits, coffee, and beverages for us. She has compliled a binder full of helpful information about Paris points of interest and transport, and she gave us some excellent tips on dining on the neighborhood.
I heartily and happily recommend that you choose Judith as your host if you're planning a visit to Paris!
What is there to say about Judith's apartment, except that was absolutely fabulous! It was exactly like it looked in the photos...cozy, sunny, and just so quaint and wonderful. Everything you need is either already there in the apartment, or conveniently located nearby. My mother and I stayed at Judith's for 15 days, and the apartment was so comfortable and homey that it quickly became our "Paris home".
Judith is absolutely wonderful. She made herself available before our stay, and was more than happy to answer any questions we might have had about the apartment, or even Paris in general. She was there to meet us when we arrived, and she spent a generous amount of time going over all the little aspects of the apartment, and the neighborhood, before she left. She even sent us a little email about mid-way through our stay to see how everything was going.
It was a pleasure staying in this beautiful home, and it made my first trip to Paris even more memorable. Thank you Judith!
What a fantastic host! She has communicated with us prior to arrival, gave us perfect directions how to get there from the airport, was waiting for us at the apartment when we arrived and explained everything around the apartment. Judith is so well organized! She has maps, guides, and even big folder with the information collected by her, to make it easier to move around Paris, find good restaurants, see the most important places. She left fresh croissants and baguette for us, so delicious!
The apartment itself is so warm and cozy, nicely decorated, with gorgeous large windows and view of the rooftops. We didn't want to leave! There is one bedroom and a study with comfortable sleeper sofa.
My daughter and I fell in love with this place. Highly recommend!
Additionally, few steps away, there is one of the best places we have eaten during our stay - La Cantine du Troquet. It is always bustling, and as far as we could tell, we have been the only tourists there, attempting to blend with locals!
From our first contact with the apartment owner, Judith, to the day we left Paris, Judith made herself available to us to help us enjoy our visit. During the planning of our trip, she responded to all of our questions about Paris and transportation to her apartment. She greeted us at the door and made us feel like her personally invited guests. She had prepared a booklet of information and spent time with us covering details about the apartment, lists of her favorite places to eat near her apartment and her recommendations for places to go in Paris. Additionally, she had a library of books and maps of Paris for our use and she even provided us with her cell phone number and email in case we needed to contact her for any reason.
This apartment was perfect for us. It was ideally located just two blocks to the Metro and 3 blocks to the Eiffel tower. The apartment was nicely furnished and the kitchen provided us the opportunity to prepare our breakfasts and occasional late night dinners. The bedding was very comfortable and was made up with freshly ironed sheets. Judith was the perfect hostess who had given a lot of thought to making us feel at home.
We highly recommend this apartment choice.
What a fantastic apartment! Our stay at Judith's apartment was my first experience using Air Bnb. I was impressed and delighted by the flawless professionalism throughout the entire process.
Judith was an incredible host, who made sure our stay was welcoming and well planned. She stocked the fridge and has plenty of guidebooks on hand, which was a real asset during our stay.
The apartment is gorgeous and incredibly centrally located. It made it easy to get around and enjoy the city.
I can't recommend this stay enough. If you are lucky enough to get to stay at Judith's getaway in The City of Lights, I know you will have a wonderful time!
Our second stay here. Once again we found Judith to be an excellent host, friendly, generous and very helpful. Her apartment is
spacious, comfortable and very well located. Highly recommended.
Judith is a very friendly and generous host. She went out of her way to look after us and helped to make our stay in Paris that much more enjoyable. The apartment is true to it's description, comfortable, spacious and extremely well located. Everything you could need is provided and you're within easy walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, Rue Cler markets, shops, cafés and metro.
Highly recommended and would happily stay there again.
This is our 2nd stay at Judith's apartment. I hope it will not be the last. Paris is my favorite European city and this apartment my favorite place to stay. Great location, great hostess.
Could not be happier!
Judith and I have been friends for a very ,long time and she is, undoubtedly, about the only person I would travel to the end of the world with. We have already done a lot of traveling together, visited many continents, countries, stayed in all sort of places - from very modest to very trendy. Much of Judith's style shows in her apartment: neat and comfortable but with a distinct personality and taste. She knows Paris like the back of her hand, even the not obvious places - where to eat or shop or go for a walk feeling you´ll come back with something to write home about !
Judith's apartment is beautiful and bright, and you will feel like you are living at home in Paris. Great neighborhood, with everything at hand, but in a very quiet street. We had a glass of wine at a neighborhood cafe while we looked at the lights on the Eiffel Tower sparkle on the hour. Magical.
