- we didn't have any appointment for a fix arrival time with our hosts
- we check our mails while our trip only in the morning and evening (the email from our hosts that they can't welcome us and the code for the masterlockbox was sent on arrival-day at 3.45 pm - while we are driving a long distance!)
- when we arrived at westermore-street the very friendly neighbour worked outside with her plants. We have been confused that the name on frontdoor-bell was not the name of our hosts, so we asked the neighbour if we were right. She did herself the phonecall (it was ger idea) to Holly and on this way we have heard that we should have got an email with infos.... aha...... (see point above!). Many thanks to this very lovely woman.
- we really have had some problemes with our rental car on the way to toronto, that's why we have contacted the rental station at torontos airport (and also why we lost more nearly two hours for earlier arrival!). We got then another rental car (exchance for the time until our first car was checked). We had to give a phone number to the manager there that he could reach us or let us new infos/update about what's about the first car. Because we haven't a canadian phone/cell we have given him the phonenumber from our hosts in meaning they would do some notice for us in cause when.... But we have heard from the manager about the really special reactions from Holly on his phone (she wouldn't know us or our name even we are her paying guests, she would call police because the car rental manager had her phonenumber.....). So strange! By the way he reached us at least by email. By return in he evening our hosts set with friends in front of the house. I've asked Holly directly about the phone from the rental station and if that was a problem for her and I also explained her that we had some problems with the rental car and why the manager had her phonenumber. It seems that it has been no problem for her, she was very friendly and pleinty of comprehension ....and now this rating. Strange too!
